Wonderful work as always, Olha! And quite a bold and even risky decision to cut oar ports in an old model whose wood's integrity isn't that great. Definitely enhances the quality of the model, though. Well done!

This balsa filler seems grainy and difficult to work with. What is the advantage of using it compared to a wood putty? Did you anticipate that this restoration would be so much work? What meticulous work with an incredible result!!!
