Great shop guys I like the way you guys shop you always check with each other if you need/want something these days we need to keep in check with spending as everything is so expensive and being on the age pension it makes it a serious balancing act and I agree those chicken drumsticks are a great buy 👍👍🩷💙
I was there later this afternoon shopping. I looked at that sour dough wrap. I didn't buy it cause I've still got the mini white wraps to get through I bought at Woolworths. Yeah! You might need to do the chop taste test on the barby.

I notice you're a fan of the "thicker" hot sauces. Have you tried Sweet Baby Ray's Buffalo Wing sauce? I'm a fan. For me, it's the right level of spice, and has a really good tang to it. Not the cheapest, but worth a shot if you find it half price. PS, Best steak knives I've ever used are the standard Victorinox "Paring Knife", the "straight edge smooth" ones, not the "serrated" ones. Retail for about $9, but you can often find them discounted.
Have yous got a budget as to weekly shopping? I allow 350 a month single which is 87.50 a week..or 250.a month which is 62.50 a week..but i bulk cook and freeze..
Wondering if either you or Frank have done a shop in a suburb with a large Chinese or Vietnamese community. Green vegetables are about a third the price of woolies. My Vietnamese butcher has some strange pricing. Oxtail is more expensive than eye fillet, tripe is kind of expensive too, but if you're after a big chunk of pork shoulder or pork leg for meal prep, they're very good pricing.

I think it's the cheap stuff. and that's what we get . I think that is why I like Frank's red hot , and Tabasco .
