Thats a great little piece of equipment to add to my toolkit. I love gadgets so this is right up my street. Can be used in many useful ways. Thanks for the review Bob. Gavin
I can definitely see the potential/usefulness in this product. A few years ago such a camera was resigned to the use of emergency services and some plumbing applications etc, they would be very expensive. I can see that some people will think that a few hundred pounds could be expensive too. I wonder how many Hab-checks could be improved by this but I dare say that it would have to be a more extensive check perhaps with the heating turned on and things running. I just wanted to add without insulting anyone's intelligence, but the free apps available on Android and IOS are not the same as this camera, they don't sense heat and just look for a whiter item that might be reflecting heat. They are a gimmick but I can see the definite potential of this camera. It could be used very effectively to show heat loss on one's bricks and mortar home. Thanks Bob for bringing it to our attention.
Got to admit that at first I thought what possible use could I have for that. However, after you explained the different ways it can actually help in identifying potential problems, I was quite taken with it. It certainly would be an asset to have, especially for identifying if the brakes are sticking on my caravan. The price did put me off a bit, but I know it's reasonably priced and I am a bit of a skinflint anyway 🤣😀
Great question! So far, just this week, I've refused to review two lithium batteries, a Crochet Handbag, a massage gun, a portable tyre inflator, an e-bike and ear buds. So I suppose yes there are lots of things I won't review.

Thank you Bob. A very useful tool.
Thank you for your honesty, as always.
Thank you 😊

Thank you. I thought it was interesting, too. It was not too expensive but not a gimmick.
What distance does it work at ? Do you think it could detect birds in trees for example?
Good question. The app goes up to 15 metres, so quite possibly it would pick up birds in trees.
Thank you 😊. I was thinking it could be useful for my bird and wildlife photography

Great review, also handy for checking if you've got rodents in your caravan/motorhome. 😊
Yes, that might not always be obvious.
Could be useful for looking for hotspots in electronic circuitry faults and running conditions.
Sorry why would you want this what use is it for a caravaner. Sorry Bob I can’t see any use. Think it’s for firemen not us.
So checking for overheated wheels wouldn't be useful for caravanners? So, checking for drafts or overheating wiring wouldn't be useful?

My hand is good for checking overhead brakes 🤔
@Petrolhead912 as long as you can reach up to the overhead brakes. 😅
Not sure it has any use for it in a caravan or mo ho ?
Not even what I suggested?
Is there nothing you won’t promote ha ha.
