Love your content. Learning a lot. The best parts of your videos are how you give all the little details, safety or lack of, why you chose the new truck parts, tools, tricks of trade, and even greese. Most other videos only show before and after installation. These videos set you apart from most other content creator's. Reminds me of working on the cars and trucks after church with my father and grandfather. God Bless!
Thank you. Just a father and son doing stuff together. I try to give the details I wanted to find in other videos but never found. We appreciate the compliments.
Would there be any difference in actually flipping the sway bar v.s.. removing the sway bar end links and just lifting/pushing the swaybar upward then connecting the links back on top of the cobra towers?
It would be different because of the sway bar bend. Would it work? Good question. I honestly cannot answer that. I remember holding it up both ways and looking at it but decided on the flip method. I had removed it because it was in the way when I did the springs. It was hitting the towers and keeping the axle from drooping.
@@dustydiesel564 thats was my thoughts exactly! My 01 1500 is a rust belt truck and she's a little crusty but I'm gonna replace the whole suspension.. idk what lift I want to go with yet. Debating on 1ton swap with 35-37 on a high 3 or low 4 lsd diff or stay with the 44 and 9.25 and just run a lsd with high 3
The steering configuration is different. Most feel its superior to the "Y" type steering the 96 left the factory with. The parts are beefier as well. Search Y type steering versus T type steering for lots of information on the subject
@@dustydiesel564 you could check they have the most parts for dodge front ends i have been able to find and i do have a 2nd Gen 4x4 12 valve www.dodgeoffroad.com

You need a skid plate now, so the Prius don't damage your oil pan as you run em down 😁
Great video! Thanks for sharing
How much of a lift on my truck would be there need to be for this to be worth it? I want to try it but only have a leveling kit on my truck

You can buy adjustable end links
Cool
What’s the advantage of doing this? My bad if I missed that part

What steering are you running?
I switched to 1999 HD steering. Lots of info on doing it. Everything just bolted right up. It was really very easy.
Dodge Offroad has all this stuff and very beefy components
Do they have stuff for the early 2nd gens with the Cobra style sway bar towers? Stuff for those seems pretty scarce...
