Without his explanation my dumb backside would have believed that painting is of John 20: 25-27, where the 11 remaining apostles (Judas deleted himself) were inside a room and the resurrected Christ appeared and told doubtful Thomas to look at the wounds and put his finger into the wound in his side. But that would mean early paintings of the Christ and his apostles showed that they are black. 🤣

The implications of this topic are wide ranging, such as the disservice done to the divine mother archetype in contemporary Abrahamic religions. The matrilineal system was an established custom during the Kemetic ascendancy for a good reason, I imagine. The psychological and social benefits of that system are something we surely need to restore to prominence if we are to advance as a species. Humanism is the natural product of such a balanced approach to the world.
