He hasn't. He's either started as a central midfielder or a right winger. He has only had one start on the left
Because he wants to put him in Spaka's position so he has an excuse to include Spaka and not Foden.
Just look at his transfermarkt profile, RW is listed as his main position this season.
But statistically he's been way better in midfield.

Odegaard had just a few games in December where he performed below what we expect, but that was due to a waist injury, after he got back from the injury, he was great as usual.
Not including Gabriel and Antonee Robinson is insane to me.

We usually hear people who don't do their research, are very biased or just default to who is the best player in that are, who has scored the most or who is more popular.

Mark, other awards you could consider is your PL referee of the season, pundit of the season, goal of season, save of season, buy of the season, flop of the season & game of the season.
Imagine going Foden over Saka for honesty (which is fair play) but choosing VVD over Gabriel.
That's complete dishonesty there.
Anyone will take VVD over Gabriel. Gabriel and Saliba has been amazing partnership, and VVD has been as amazing as well alone at the back for Liverpool. He is unlucky he hasn't had a proper centre partner, he plays with, matip , konate, quansha, Gomez throughout the season.

Nah you don't have to think 'how well have these players play together' when you're picking Team of the Season. They aren't going to play together so just pick those that have played the best over the course of the season. That's Saliba and Van Dijk.
Unless arsenal are either doing something groundbreaking (possible) or they’ve just been incredibly lucky this season. Like I don’t even think they rotate too much and if they did get injuries like Liverpool, United, Newcastle etc they wouldn’t be where they are.
Luck is needed to win titles so it’s not a dig.

Van Dijk was actually quite poor early on and not his usual self then came better just this calender year by getting some crucial goals and improving his defense and back to his normal self so not the best this season. Same playing for Netherlands he wasn't at his best either and I'm a Netherlands supporter.

I love Arsenal, but foden has been a level above. His ability to create goals from nothing is remarkable. Saka is capable of performing his tactical job to its fullest but he doesn’t have the ability yet to start roaming the front 3 when behind to orchestrate a comeback
He looks like he paces himself so he doesn’t get hurt for the long season so a rotating player for him might have him “leave more on the pitch” we could see him get better
You know what it's actually the opposite.. Saka is a lot more creative.. He creates more and it's not surprising as soon as De Bruyne plays with Haaland the goals come.. however Foden has been better this season than Saka overall

Player welfare will never be a priority for FIFA, UEFA, or the FA. They all look at the players as a commodity. They think they're all replaceable, except for a very select few. At the end of the day they want as many games as possible. More games means more tickets in stadium, and more advertising money on TV. Which ultimately means more money. And that's all they care about. Period.
