      Thank you :) You can thank the people that asked me how to make holes and the 1 guy that asked about the shrink wrap modifier

      Didn't know that, or who it would be, but I see your point. Thank you for doing this.

    Can you continue your C# tutorial? Mostly finish off your database tutorials. Been watching you since then and really want to know your way since it was the only way that worked for getting data for me.

    awesome, as usual Derek! also, Would you please make a "gimp in one video" tutorial? that would be so helpful to know the ins and outs, especially when getting to the complicated work like masks and stuff, the switch from photoshop makes gimp looks confusing somehow. thanks!

      Thank you :) A Gimp tutorial will follow the Blender series

      That is my one weakness aside from years experience. I don't take advantage of the numerous addons

      The addon even comes with blender, you just have to activate it.

    What we need to be able to do is cut a proper hole through a volume (WITH INTERIOR SIDES GENERATED), not just a hole in a surface. Extrude can somewhat do this but instead of making an open hole it will start extruding out of the other side for some reason when you hit the opposite face.

    Hello Derek :) How are you :)
    I have a question, I just got into web development a few weeks ago. Basically i know both html and css, but I'm having an issue with the design/structure of my website. I can't think of any design that i can write down and refer to, once is that done i can easily code it. Is it a lack of creativity? And how exactly can I get better at designing? Is it a good idea to attempt to copy some designs from others? I hope that was not too much :) Thanks for your hard work Derek, really appreciate it :)

    • @derekbanas
      @derekbanas  6 років тому

      Hi Exodus, Yes I'll let you in on a secret. Every designer I have ever known regardless of experience refers to other sites for ideas. Search for best website designs or for sites with a similar subject matter and use those to help.
      I create websites from scratch in these videos

      Derek Banas Thank you very much Derek :) I can't really explain how thankful i am for the great work and help you've been doing for the last years. Such an inspiration :) you know some people disagree to provide free content, some set a limit. You on the other hand, go through full details about whatever topic you're working on. I want to be exactly like you once i grow up:)

    How can you do almost all the programming languages? any secret behind it?

    • @derekbanas
      @derekbanas  6 років тому +1

      I have been programming for over 30 years, so I see everything in life as some form of programming. I'm not particularly smart it is just something I'm used to. I think most people can learn any language quickly after learning an OO and a functional language

    You guys are so slick... I’ve been using photoshop for years, but I can’t draw a simple wood box and create a cut sheet in blender. Where is the real beginners tutorial??
