The reason why you were getting such bad matches in multiplayer is because you were using the switch and asphalt 9 isn't cross platform so there's a lot less people to choose from in a multiplayer match. If you use a phone, you usually get people within 100-200 rank of you.

At lot of the current fans of Asphalt joined in Asphalt 8 Airborne but there is much more than just A8 and A9. The first game of the franchise was released November 2004 as Asphalt Urban GT for Nintendo DS, Java, and Play Station Portable. In 2005, the first sequel, Asphalt Urban GT 2, was released using some real life music including Maximo Park’s Apply Some Pressure and Moby’s Lift Me Up. In 2006, the most underrated game in the franchise came out, Asphalt 3: Street Rules. 2 years later the franchise ventured into IOS territory with Asphalt 4: Elite Racing and was also the first game in the franchise with an intro. A year later Asphalt 5 was released and the first game with an Android version (It was also the first one I played). On December 21st 2010, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline came out and a few months later a smaller version of the game called Asphalt Audi RS 3 came out for limited time. In 2011, the franchise got its first spinoffs with Asphalt 3d and Injection. A year later and Asphalt 7: Heat was released, with locations and cars from previous games. In 2013, Gameloft released Asphalt 8 with a spinoff for lower end devices called Asphalt Nitro. 3 more spinoffs came out with Overdrive, Street Storm, and Extreme. In 2016, Gameloft was purchased by their current owner, Vivendi (And this is where the franchise went downhill). A9 was released in 2018 with a spinoff, Asphalt Nitro 2, coming out 3 years later. Asphalt 9 is also the worst in the franchise with cars being slow, physics system not working, and the game is p2w (Pay to win). They should bring A6 back and you can still get it on MAC, from what I heard. And yes this comment is long
IMO A9 has the best gameplay and mechanics in it. It’s just over the top difficult if you’re f2p. It’s more grindy than Dragon Mania💀. But I’ve been f2p for two years and I have some competitive cars to race with. Not worth it, but it’s possible.
The visual glitches and the crashing from multiplayer is not a switch issue, its a server issue with GL thats been present for around a year now, even global A9 has this problem.
0:43 I remember playing Asphalt 9 on one of those apple display tablets, and once I realized the game had murder, I made it my personal mission to obliterate any cars ahead of me, lol.
Nice attempt on playing Asphalt 9 for 10 hours, I have been playing this game for 2 years. The reason you weren't able to knock down others because it was a ghost series multi-player where all cars are ghosted, there are 3 multi-player modes which keep changing namely Classic (where knockdown is enabled after 15 seconds), Ghost and Ghost slipstream(where cars are ghosted and whenever the car is ahead it leaves a trail behind which gives infinite nitro), also yea the game is highly pay 2 win XD, I would recommend you to use a controller than steering wheel because the steering wheel is too sensitive for this and probably has more buttons than a controller, lastly always use nitro on all ramps(Shockwave gives huge speed boost on ramps) Also the game is known for crashing many times, so that's why they give free rewards to players
Doesnt this game have like a bazillion currencies and "the sin"? (The sin is a stamina system which prevents you from playing big chunks of game at once)
As someone who streams Asphalt 9 on twitch, it was fun seeing you play the game for 10 hours straight (even I who only plays the game for 2-4 hours straight on straight on stream couldn't imagine doing that). So I decided to do a little nitpicking (sorry) and some tips to try that my twitch community told me when I was first grinding to Platinum and Legends League. Tips: I suggest (if you want to play the game again) learn things like Float Drifting (to maximize drifting while maintaining top speed), wall riding (Riding a wall while using either Red, Blue [questionable, but it could work], and Shock-wave [I wouldn't recommend using this when wall riding since the nitro runs out quick] nitro management (to make sure you don't run out of nitro during a race), etc. At 4:20 when you said that you can't beat people with a higher car rank, I disagree to an extent. It is possible, as most car ranks in game really don't matter, and it's the stats that count. I suggest you unlock the DS E-Tense and Max it out (while learning the different mechanics to be a better racer overall). With a maxed out DS E Tense, you could even reach Gold League with it too (with enough skill)! If you want to make it easier from getting from Silver to Gold, then I suggest you unlock the Acura NSX and max that out too (or get it to maxed out 3 stars, although maxing it out at 4 stars is the better option). The car itself is AMAZING in Multiplayer when you max it out! Once you reach Gold League and reach half way in it, I suggest you get the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport! This thing is a MONSTER when it comes to multiplayer and will easily carry you to Platinum (even at 3 stars, you can reach platinum with it). Once you max it out, I believe that you could reach Legends League too (trying to reach Legends League for the first time myself). Also, at 4:51, there is a collision in multiplayer, but it seemed like you played it when Ghost Mode was the main season. To elaborate, there are different modes for multiplayer, there is Normal Mode (Knockdowns are enabled), Ghost Mode (which disabled KD's), Slipstream (A blue stream behind every car that when followed, will fill up your nitro bar), Ghost Slipstream (the combination between Ghost Mode, and Slipstream mode). I suggest you grind to Lvl 12 too so that you can auto-claim certain events too! I would suggest more, but at this rate, I suggest you watch tutorials on this game to truly begin to understand. From there, I suggest any other Asphalt 9 Pros, Content creators, etc to reply below to check what I'm missing. (like S Class Cars to unlock to further progress in legends league since I didn't reach it yet), how to reach top 100 in Leaderboard, how to reach top 100 in clubs, The Clash, etc). I greatly appreciate the exposure to this game that you generated, as that's why I stream [plus to reach Legends League for the first time with fans] (to get this game mainstream while also growing the Twitch Streaming scene for this game)! It can be very P2W with the micro-transaction, but as someone who is F2P, it is possible to become REALLY GOOD in this game! I wish you luck, and keep racing. (Sorry about all the nitpicking, just had to put my own commentary in this)
@@sixstar5016 I guess I shouldn’t say never. Generally, when people are paid to play a game they only play it for the contractual time limit and he speed runs new games constantly so most likely he’ll never come back to this one
i still cant belive how different the game is in the beginning from the mid-end game. its a completely different game... like even for me a skilled mid-game player is really hard to watch this because of how used i am too seeing people drive with meta cars or using mechanics in the right best way. just seeing people having fun while doing 360 and crashing and not even using drift is crazy weird. its 2 different worlds man but respect for trying this game out
Murder=knockdown Tricks=stunts traffic down=murdering those stationary vehicles Perfect Nitro=pressing the Nitro button on the blue area when you are using Nitro You were playing ghost mode in multiplayer, where you can't murder other racers :( In classic multiplayer, you can murder other players, but after some time. In some normal races, there are police cars, with the most common example being the credits heist race There is a hunted mode, where you try to escape from cop cars, and sometimes, vans and literal humvee like vehicles You can apply import parts to vehicles to upgrade them to higher ranks

Ahh, asphalt 9. The game I suffered through trying to get all the achievements in. The game was fun for a while, then it got annoying. Its a decent game, though.
Asphalt 9 is such a game you won't be able to do good by playing continuously because of the fuels cuz once you run out of fuel you have to wait for refills
The advantage of the Switch version is the unlockable offline split-screen multiplayer. Other than that, you're better off with either PC (Steam version preferably if you have a Steam Deck), Xbox or a capable mobile device for better performance, cross-play with balanced ranked matches, and being up-to-date.
Asphalt 8 used to be one of my favorite games and I would play it everyday. When Asphalt 9 came out I never played it and thought it was nothing compared to 8.
Asphalt 8 was legendry and always will be, asphalt 9 is just a cash grab garbage I would play asphalt 8 early days anyday also they ruined asphalt 8 as well around the end same as asphalt 9
Multi-player is so hard in this game because when you play it on each league you have to pick a car from a specific class which means veterans max out the best cars from each class and get to the next league that way.
to make it worse for beginners they mostly will face the kings of its class in multiplayer so its mostly best to get at least a mid tier car for its class and at least 2 or 3 stars
nice video promoting Asphalt 9! (and also good job for kept playing this game for 10 hour, jees...) Overall, this game is still a good game as conclusion. many good thing and bad thing. good graphic and HYPER FAST cop that's basically faster than most fastest car in S, Venom. Lmao
@@deadchannel9892 YUP really funny that whenever they add any new high-end S class cars and also when we're not able to use any cop that is ACTUALLY used by bot, not nerfed one for players, we are already expecting and most likely ended up true, that "Man, this car should be the fastest on my garage... but slower than cop :( " LMAO P.S. speed limit on Gameloft? The 10 hours in the game is fun after that it all went downhill. :(

ACKCHUALLY you earn credits for each race, not tokens :> Collision is actually available in multiplayer, but only depending on the series type, the one with no collision was ghost mode.
Actually multiplayrr features different type of races each week, you fell into the ghost multiplayer week. And you have 2 different type of races each week. There is a high chance in one you can ram other players.
Me at the beginning: "Gameloft? The people who make those garbage pay-to-win mobile games? This looks pretty good" Me half way through: "ah, there it is"
Ultimate guide if you can read this: Super simple -yellow nitro on straight road -blue nitro on corners -orange nitro when you are on airplane mode -purple nitro whenever you are not in a 90° corners -Targa S is the best on class D, invest on 'em if you can -others? Just know that the orange dodge sucks -360 five seconds after start -ONLY use orange nitro on airplane mode. DO. NOT. DO IT. ON LAND. Unless you are breathing down that camaro's ass -only buy 10 packs, no single packs, also invest wisely. -you CAN beat cars that you think are hopelessly outclassed even though your car sucks. Proof? My DS is 1360 comoared to that 1922 DS, i manage to score the first place. -choose wisely on which cars to invest -DO NOT MISS CREDIT HEIST -car hunts are fun, if you really want that car, otherwise just chill. -power creep really isn't a thing when you don't abuse purple nitro -DO NOT INVEST IN THE Z4. SRT8, too
you actually can kill people in multiplayer, and they can kill you, but it requires much more force. also, though you lose your momentum, you respawn instantaneously and you dont slo-mo when crashing into someone as it is a live game
There’s a full-motion Asphalt arcade machine at my local arcade. Having to buckle into the seat and feeling the whole thing tilt and turn whenever using the 360 move is such a rush.

Nice attempt on playing Asphalt 9 for 10 hours, I have been playing this game for 2 years. The reason you weren't able to knock down others because it was a ghost series multi-player where all cars are ghosted, there are 3 multi-player modes which keep changing namely Classic (where knockdown is enabled after 15 seconds), Ghost and Ghost slipstream(where cars are ghosted and whenever the car is ahead it leaves a trail behind which gives infinite nitro), also yea the game is highly pay 2 win XD, I would recommend you to use a controller than steering wheel because the steering wheel is too sensitive for this and probably has more buttons than a controller, lastly always use nitro on all ramps(Shockwave gives huge speed boost on ramps)
Also the game is known for crashing many times, so that's why they give free rewards to players
Doesnt this game have like a bazillion currencies and "the sin"? (The sin is a stamina system which prevents you from playing big chunks of game at once)
@@tylern6420 kinda, there are different currencies and a fuel system like A8 and tickets to play daily events
@@Imperfect11 fuel systems are sins
@@tylern6420 but that 'sin' is what adds variety to multiplayer, otherwise people would just spam the same car
0:32 Dude I played Asphalt 4 on a 9 button soft touch phone, I am _not_ hearing complaints from you.
Tips:
I suggest (if you want to play the game again) learn things like Float Drifting (to maximize drifting while maintaining top speed), wall riding (Riding a wall while using either Red, Blue [questionable, but it could work], and Shock-wave [I wouldn't recommend using this when wall riding since the nitro runs out quick] nitro management (to make sure you don't run out of nitro during a race), etc.
(Sorry about all the nitpicking, just had to put my own commentary in this)
He’s never going to play this game again lol
@@ling0s138 wait, seriously? How come??
@@sixstar5016 I guess I shouldn’t say never. Generally, when people are paid to play a game they only play it for the contractual time limit and he speed runs new games constantly so most likely he’ll never come back to this one
@@ling0s138 Ah, I see. Thanks for the info.
The real power of a gamer lies not in their hands, but in their mind.
Mind blowing information, you really opened my eyes with this one 😱
I remember playing a older version of asphalt on my laptop and really enjoyed it
2:19 you mean Lord E
Watching this makes me wanna gauge my eyes out as an asphalt 9 sweat
Cut him some slack.
Man I remember the old time when I played asphalt adrenaline on my Nokia C101 (128x160) good times
i still cant belive how different the game is in the beginning from the mid-end game. its a completely different game... like even for me a skilled mid-game player is really hard to watch this because of how used i am too seeing people drive with meta cars or using mechanics in the right best way. just seeing people having fun while doing 360 and crashing and not even using drift is crazy weird. its 2 different worlds man but respect for trying this game out
I'm an a9 veteran, and never in my life, did I ever play Asphalt 9 for more than 6 hours, let alone 10 hours straight. Nice demonstration tho
I wasn't expecting eazy sponsoring my childhood game
The experience is more uncanny after you dive straight in to the game
this game is fire
also did you know the first game came out on the ds
Ok this guy is a legand 🔥 how does this man do this!?
Why? He is not a good player he is a New player not a legend
How have I never heard of this series
I remember playing Asphalt 3 on my mom's flip phone and thinking it was the coolest thing ever. This series is so old.
Yes it's. I still have that apk. It's called Asphalt-3_Street-Rules....
Murder=knockdown
Tricks=stunts
traffic down=murdering those stationary vehicles
Perfect Nitro=pressing the Nitro button on the blue area when you are using Nitro
You were playing ghost mode in multiplayer, where you can't murder other racers :(
In classic multiplayer, you can murder other players, but after some time.
In some normal races, there are police cars, with the most common example being the credits heist race
There is a hunted mode, where you try to escape from cop cars, and sometimes, vans and literal humvee like vehicles
You can apply import parts to vehicles to upgrade them to higher ranks
I PLAY THIS GAME 24/7 AND I FEEL GREAT NOOBS !
Asphalt 6 was the 1st one i played ah yes good ol days
I just wonder how much they paid for this sponsorship. It better be more than 100$ an hour haha
Just play the game normally either on mobile or switch but the challenge is not to use real money since the game is pay to win 😭
As a sweaty A9 player this hurt to watch. No air nitro, 360 on ground with out the intention of a floaty,no break nitro. Pain. Still loved the vid tho
As a certified professional/whale with a 6 star Jesko (won in ds, got other livery in gp, and bought the rest of the way to 6 stars using tokens for packs and individuals blueprints in clash store) in his garage, I can certainly say tht...
Make car go boom-boom very fun yezyez
Ahh, asphalt 9. The game I suffered through trying to get all the achievements in. The game was fun for a while, then it got annoying. Its a decent game, though.
Asphalt 9 is such a game you won't be able to do good by playing continuously because of the fuels cuz once you run out of fuel you have to wait for refills
Asphalt is such an underrated game discredited by being a mobile game so they made asphalt 9 that kinda requires a laptop to run now
The advantage of the Switch version is the unlockable offline split-screen multiplayer. Other than that, you're better off with either PC (Steam version preferably if you have a Steam Deck), Xbox or a capable mobile device for better performance, cross-play with balanced ranked matches, and being up-to-date.
My friend showed me this game and I got it on my switch. It's pretty fun.
This man found the secret reverse button
if the creators of mobile games order advertising from you, this is a reason to think
I love your vids man❤🎉
Asphalt 8 used to be one of my favorite games and I would play it everyday.
Played this game 3 years ago. Looks the exact same. They didn’t add new maps or anything?
Yes, but most of them are hard to get without money
They added plenty of new maps tho they are hard to master. The newer cars are more p2w however not as good as some of the older ones
Skill issue
8:05 terrain glitch gotta love it 😔
speedruns when?
"Shout out to master chef for being on my side monitor" the most motivational speech Gordon Ramsey is gonna get
Actually multiplayer does have a murder system, but they also have a season system, and in Ghost seasons, murder is disabled
please speedrun bookworm adventures if you still can, probably one of the most nostalgic games ever
nice video promoting Asphalt 9! (and also good job for kept playing this game for 10 hour, jees...)
Overall, this game is still a good game as conclusion. many good thing and bad thing. good graphic and HYPER FAST cop that's basically faster than most fastest car in S, Venom. Lmao
nothing can beat the damn cop car
@@deadchannel9892 YUP
really funny that whenever they add any new high-end S class cars and also when we're not able to use any cop that is ACTUALLY used by bot, not nerfed one for players, we are already expecting and most likely ended up true, that "Man, this car should be the fastest on my garage... but slower than cop :( " LMAO
P.S. speed limit on Gameloft? NO WAY KEKW they will never do that
Okay how do I redeem the code? I've been scouring on the store and can't find the place to type it. (Been playing the game for years on the Switch, nice to see you can still redeem the red and blue car)
Hey EasySpeezy When Will u Upload more Angry Birds epic speedruns? I miss them!
Tip(If you play again): double tap the Nitro while double barelling and jumping or doing 360.
Oh wow I just quitted playing Asphalt 9 when you made a video about it. I had a fun time watching you play, which makes me happy to look at the starting part of the game.
But I gotta tell you. My journey with the game has been crap when you go further. Lots of competitive players, pay to progress missions, and the campaigns will not be playable if you got all the blueprints from gambling with card packs. The 10 hours in the game is fun after that it all went downhill. :(
You know what this game needed for Multiplayer?
Ranked matches.
Multi player is ranked :/
8:05 I played asphalt 9 on my switch before. I crashed my car, then the game froze for a few seconds, and then my car respawn but it just don't render anything (black screen, but the UI is still visible)
Nice!! You could try to speedrun the Game Lucky Luna, it's very good
Bro made us watch 8mins long asphalt 9 ad
ACKCHUALLY you earn credits for each race, not tokens :>
Collision is actually available in multiplayer, but only depending on the series type, the one with no collision was ghost mode.
Well aren’t this a new form of advertisement 😅
Actually multiplayrr features different type of races each week, you fell into the ghost multiplayer week. And you have 2 different type of races each week. There is a high chance in one you can ram other players.
I literally love this guy🎉😂
Hey man. Love your content and speedruns so... here is a game you should try to speedrun: hot lava
I remember playing Asphalt 4(?) On my phone a long time ago. I never got better at it, but it was fun nontheless
It would be funny if he saw how many people use cars with ratings of 2-3k and easily gap 3-4k. Really funny
The best mode is not police chase but it is infection.
i can confirm that 10 hours of asphalt 9 is not crazy long ;)
Fyre :fatlove:
Yes I’m finding this video now XP
Me at the beginning: "Gameloft? The people who make those garbage pay-to-win mobile games? This looks pretty good"
Me half way through: "ah, there it is"
Could you play Antichamber, Its a very cool puzzle game, and mind boggling. The speed run of it is a few minutes long if you try for that
If you have a VR headset, you should be the first to speedrun sniper elite VR.
I have the perfect idea for a speed run the binding of Issac its a entertaining game and you know you have good skills if you get to boss rush
I hate how asphalt 9 made auto driving a thing... Asphalt 8 was so much better
just turn em off
Ultimate guide if you can read this:
Super simple
-yellow nitro on straight road
-blue nitro on corners
-orange nitro when you are on airplane mode
-purple nitro whenever you are not in a 90° corners
-Targa S is the best on class D, invest on 'em if you can
-others? Just know that the orange dodge sucks
-360 five seconds after start
-ONLY use orange nitro on airplane mode. DO. NOT. DO IT. ON LAND. Unless you are breathing down that camaro's ass
-only buy 10 packs, no single packs, also invest wisely.
-you CAN beat cars that you think are hopelessly outclassed even though your car sucks. Proof? My DS is 1360 comoared to that 1922 DS, i manage to score the first place.
-choose wisely on which cars to invest
-DO NOT MISS CREDIT HEIST
-car hunts are fun, if you really want that car, otherwise just chill.
-power creep really isn't a thing when you don't abuse purple nitro
-DO NOT INVEST IN THE Z4. SRT8, too
Dang, ashphalt 9 is a major upgrade to 8
Also try and play Splatoon 3, maybe speedrun hero mode?
Have you speedran World of Goo yet? Chapters 1 and 2 are literally perfect for this.
Apparently you haven't. Cool!
Speedrun gangbeasts next, would recommend
you actually can kill people in multiplayer, and they can kill you, but it requires much more force. also, though you lose your momentum, you respawn instantaneously and you dont slo-mo when crashing into someone as it is a live game
Asphalt 8 had collision in multi-player, its so fun
A9 does too
There’s a full-motion Asphalt arcade machine at my local arcade. Having to buckle into the seat and feeling the whole thing tilt and turn whenever using the 360 move is such a rush.
I love how he calls knockdowns 'murder'
ah yes murder, my favorite part of a racing game
2:42 wait there are only these modes in asphalt 9,i am sorry to tell u but u missed lot of stuff.
First of all the classic mode(nothing special)and *THEN* things get spicy:2nd mode elimination(with nevada being the most iconic map to me with dodge charger srt first car u get in the game)where u need to be first but unlike normal mode each lap the last player gets eliminated, until there is just one player.3rd is infection where it starts like a normal race, but then the last player is infected after a few seconds, when u aren't infected u need to get as far from the infected as possible cuz when they touch u, you get infected, and when you are infected u need to "murder" (destroy) as many players as possible until the countdown arrives to 0(cuz destroyomg enemies gives u extra time) and when the countdown arrives to 0,u get destroyed (although u respawn)(and also when you are infected you have infinite nitrous)
4th is destruction( i don't remember the name but i will just call it like that)in destruction u need to destroy (or as u call it "murder" more cars than an enemy
and u already know how fun it is to "murder" other cars
P.S:i may have forgotten other racing modes so to anyone who find this comment and knows about asphalt 8 tell me.
Asphalt was an amazing game that i really liked but now it became bad(sorry but that's what i think about asphalt 8 and 9)😢😢😭
Hey - not many Players can take a sponsorship from a scummy p2w game, have fun, and show how despicable the company is. Props to that!
Asphalt 8 was my childhood!Thank you Eazyspeezy
What a sad childhood ...
that’s crazy cuz i been playing this game so much lately
I'm disappointed that you kept referring to smashing other vehicles as "murder," when you could have been calling it "carnage".
speedrun paint the town red
If you want collisions on MP, play Asphalt 8:Airborne!
Try speed running elden ring or any souls game. Love your videos🥰.
You should try speed running Potty racers 2, such a classic online game and would swap to that after finishing learn how to fly 😂
I loved asphalt 8 with all my heart
And if my phone/pc wasn't crap i would have enjoyed more of 9, idk, i just love racing games
Burnout still is to this day one of my favorite games
If you liked it you should try Asphalt 8, It feels more like a racing game and it isn't as automatic as Asphalt 9.
wdym automatic
