Great stuff Ade. I have theory if you are missing parts when doing a bike restoration, then pack your plating kit away. Within 2 days all the missing bits (which always need plating!) turn up. It's worked for me countless times. Am enjoying the bike build so keep posting......regards, Bones
Hi thanks for watching. From memory I would have thought so, the engine I think was the same but were the J and S variants disc and drum front brakes? Ultimately it's one of them get the 2 covers side by side and see, if the clutch lift mechanism is the same etc. CG are different because they are pushrod not OHC, I once put a CG engine in an XL125 frame, it worked OK apart from having to sort carburation due to the exhaust.
@@AGEngineering yes, very surprising considering they were given away as field bikes when I was a child. The Hondas must have just been ridden into the ground.

I really enjoyed watching someone else manhandling an engine into the frame.
Yes long gone are the days of doing Norton or Z650 ones, I'll stick to the tiddlers for now. Thanks for watching Michael, much appreciated.

Bones you are spot on, I've just found 2 coil spacers...
Fantastic stuff Ade. I like the plating set up. Your workshop is the stuff of dreams. Glad to see you posting again. You were gone too long!
Glad you enjoyed it, I know I'm a bit erratic in the posting but I'm still here!

That's looking realy good, it's great to see another bike getting closer to being back on the road.
It's been many years in the making this one!
enjoying the videos very much - cheers from NZ
Many thanks for following!
Great to see you back Ade. What brand is your tee handled screwdriver?
I have no idea, it came from Hi Level motorcycle accessories if that helps. Thanks for watching and continuing to support

Great progress Ade. I really like the little Honda. You can see why my old Bantam went extinct when you compare the two.
Best wishes, Dean.
Ironically there's probably more Bantams about now than CB125's
