Love this asmr video Finn, I love that its 40 mins..The longer the better..I work night-shift and listen to your videos to relax and sleep during the day, Thank you
this is probably my favorite asmr video you've done. watched it numerous times on my lunch break at work and since i work overnight it's hard to stay awake watching this haha.
This is my fav ASMR video of all time because it's so well done and deals with two things I love- Old PC games, and old LUCASARTS PC games. Fantastic. I played a similar lucasarts flight sim on PC called Secret Weapons of The Luftwaffe. It was spectacular and very advanced for the time it came out (1990?). The wheel for the Amiga flight sim is used to start the game. It will ask you for a combination on the wheel which will reveal a message or image you then have to match on the computer to launch into the game. I wish I had owned that flight sim for my Amiga. Only flight sim I had was "air support" which was sort of lame.
Oh BTW all disks are floppy disks, whether they're 5 1/4 or 3 1/2". They're all floppy. People in Canada in the 80s and 90s erroneously called the smaller ones hard disks because they didn't flop, but they are all floppies.
A really good video. It brought some good nostalgic memories and a smile on an half old mans face. thank you finn for the upload and i hope you will upload some more, some time. Have it nice in finland, greetings from denmark.
We went from games being on multiple discs in giant boxes with inserts and thick manuals to having digital only games on no discs with no boxes and no manuals.
Hey Janne have you ever thought of picking up a used 486 based PC and seeing if your old PC disks work? It would be cool to see a video of you installing these old DOS games.
The old unit D, i played games on those, los times when Windows neded to be installed, ID i remember correctly you needed 12 floppys and 5 D. Good old times

your asmr videos are so relaxing finn :)
Glad you like them!

So great. I had fun playing Fate of Atlantis nice to hear the manual sounds ^_^
Regardless of whether you upload on your main channel or this one, nothing makes my day like seeing a new video from you show up on my homepage :)
man i'm so happy that you made an asmr channel. big fan of your original channel, keep up the great work!
Revisiting this a lot recently. One of the best! Tales From The Manual extravaganza

listening on my "lunch" break at work and trying to keep myself from falling asleep. doesn't help that I've been awake for about 30 hours straight.

Thanks!
It's fascinating to see 100-page manuals packaged with a game on 1.44 MB floppy disks. Data was pretty pricey back then!

Ever thought about doing a video of all artbooks/journals etc that came with special edition or big box games?
Wow I didn't realize Javier Bardem had his own ASMR channel
Nice stuff

That copy protection worked until colour scanners and printers became easily accessible ;)
Would love an asmr with the weird newspaper
Cool video! Greetings to you my Uralic bro from an Altaic dude! :)
Great video. Did you see 'curse of monkey island' has just been released on gog.com . I'd love to see you do an asmr play through.
muistan ku pelasin pienempänä monkey islandia ja ei millään saatu läpästyä ku ei osannu englantia tarpeeks hyvin.
SMELL THE PAGES
Don't copy that floppy!
Have you ever thought of doing an asmr cleaning video for your games?
I have, but I don't get that many dirty games at once to make a decent video. I guess I should save the dirty games until I have enough. :)
Did i missed something? because i never heard of LucasArts :/
How can that be? :D
• iSonicSpeedi • Did u ever watched Star Wars?
That sucks that guy choose the wrong ship to take in the indy diary telegram
