It's totaled unfortunately. The fact that you now have interior panels not aligning means the firewall and floor pan have damage, which is one of the areas that insurance companies won't touch. Present your argument about the value, buy another one and buy this one back. Spare parts are always nice to have around, and it gives you the ability to go through another one and do a complete build/refresh. It'll provide content and give you an end product that you will be more satisfied with. It sucks that it happened, but I am glad everyone is OK and you might come out of it better than you thought. Also side note: I have always fucking hated that intersection because no one seems to know what to do. I don't remember if there is a warning sign for the stop sign or not, but it fucking sucks. I've seen several collisions there over the years (most of them severe head-on or side impact), and there hasn't been much change to the traffic flow. It sucks that it got you.
There was a sign for an upcoming stop sign right before the corner. Maybe a corner speed caution sign with some flashing lights would have helped but shit happened :/ Good thing they are ok.
a similar situation like this happened to my RX7 around this time last year... my biggest tip is to just ignore all the "what-ifs" that you're thinking about.. nothing you can do about it now, whats done is done

Dude my truck didnt burn up but the ground from the battery was smoked so bad it basically acted like a fusible link and kept my truck from burning. Definitely disconnecting next time I wreck something.
Unlucky dude, I was in a crash a couple weeks back too. Coming from a guy who repairs salvage for a living, Your car is totally saveable, from what I see in the video, which isnt much, its bonnet, wings, bumper, radiator and fan, crash bar, slam panel, headlights and probably some engine and or bay components as its always worse than it looks you will find more as you look at it, you need to get it fully stripped down of damage including slam panel drill the spot welds off and remove it and take it to a body shop with a jig/frame machine and if its twisted out of spec they will pull it back to spec for you, then you just need to fit the new slam panel and all the new parts and your good to go. The interior parts dont mean its twisted, they're very weak plastic and that was a hard hit, the shock just probably moved them slightly, glove back will literally be able to bend slightly and close again, it probably got hit by DJs knee or something the radio surround is probably not fitting due to the radio moving slightly in the accident so all easilu fixable! Good luck and hope to see that thing back soon!! (It will be a total loss, but at least you your okay and you will get a pay out so keep it and fix it!)

Glad you guys are okay for sure. Make sure to grab as much of the aftermarket stuff off of it as possible if insurance decides to total it out. They don't factor basically any aftermarket modifications into the value of the vehicle unless you have receipts, and depending on how big of a dick the adjuster is, proof of installation. Anything you can grab and replace with something that looks factory or isn't gonna be noticed when they tow it away you should snag to help recoup costs.
Worst case I think you could get the frame straightened, tube front or even find a r32 that's been rear impacted and stitch weld the rad support and wheel wells on and be on the road again in no time, I've got my fingers crossed it all works out!

Glad you two are completely healthy and safe. Some insight on totals on cars, in my experience, I crashed my car at i5 southbound around Marysville. My car was definitely not as bad as yours in the crash, only crumpled radiator with a crushed radiator mount, but that was enough for my car to be labeled total loss... so... I hope you can work around that and not get a totaled title out of this, that would be actual ass, but with my car basically having a tweaked subframe and rad mount, idk man. Best of luck tho

Damn, Glad you guys are okay. Cars probably totaled but you should get a good check from the insurance company. Also remember you don't have to settle with them right away. You guys can both get checks for Pain and Suffering plus the car is negotiable so you may want to talk to someone before releasing liability. Also if you guys are fucked up at all go to a chiropractor and get some work done the insurance will reimburse you plus its documentation of any injuries.

Cars require attention, and I can't imagine a situation where this lady wasn't stovin it around this corner you can clearly see from a ways, and just locked up her brakes cause she wasn't paying any attention. INSURANCE ADVICE: My family works in insurance old cars especially imports get written off even in minor accidents cause insurance bases their valuations of the province/states valuation book. So basically how much the insurance thinks your car is worth is what you’ll get in this case. Hopefully you have bill of sale or you can get it professionally appraised but you’ll have to fight them for it as long as you have good insurance. Stay poed up there’s more skylines and only one More Skids.
Reminds me of when I got my first 240sx... Just before I got it roadworthy a tornado ripped through my neighborhood and dumped a maple tree on the roof. You'll figure it out buddy make sure insurance pays you out properly!

If theres that many issues with interior panel gaps and stuff then the firewall could be pushed in which as far as insurance companies are concerned would pretty much instantly total it. Hope that's not the case but if it is it'll still be interesting to see what you do when you buy it back. As someone who's been in a serious car accident it happens way too fast to keep track of, I cant even remember what happened between when I knew I was going to crash and when I got out of the car which was only about 15 seconds

Damn, Glad you guys are okay. Cars probably totaled but you should get a good check from the insurance company. Also remember you don't have to settle with them right away. You guys can both get checks for Pain and Suffering plus the car is negotiable so you may want to talk to someone before releasing liability. Also if you guys are fucked up at all go to a chiropractor and get some work done the insurance will reimburse you plus its documentation of any injuries.

HOWEVER.
Cars require attention, and I can't imagine a situation where this lady wasn't stovin it around this corner you can clearly see from a ways, and just locked up her brakes cause she wasn't paying any attention. Shit is unacceptable, and she's lucky she didn't kill the homies. Inattentive drivers are nearly as dangerous as impaired ones, and I'm just glad you boys are alright.

INSURANCE ADVICE:
My family works in insurance old cars especially imports get written off even in minor accidents cause insurance bases their valuations of the province/states valuation book. So basically how much the insurance thinks your car is worth is what you’ll get in this case. Hopefully you have bill of sale or you can get it professionally appraised but you’ll have to fight them for it as long as you have good insurance. Stay poed up there’s more skylines and only one More Skids.

If theres that many issues with interior panel gaps and stuff then the firewall could be pushed in which as far as insurance companies are concerned would pretty much instantly total it. Hope that's not the case but if it is it'll still be interesting to see what you do when you buy it back.
As someone who's been in a serious car accident it happens way too fast to keep track of, I cant even remember what happened between when I knew I was going to crash and when I got out of the car which was only about 15 seconds
