It turns you into a Ghost, practically. Only a preseance. At this point, the body is just something used for being down here. Thoughts, feelings are still there but there is a cut-off that occurs. They become impersonal. No longer personal. The being is more in tune with the energy, spirit, lightbody, doesn't matter what one would like to call it. They are no longer matter or dence. Even your breathing becomes light. It's like there is no one inside of the body. People can feel this, electromagnetically, when they are near you, or even when they speak or think of you... and when I say people, I mean, your everyday people who subconsciously believe that their thoughts, feelings, perceptions, trauma, what they see in a mirror, is who they are.

I find that tibetan buddhism and vedic traditions go hand in hand. So many people try to argue these paths, but I think all paths ultimately are trying to get to the same point of realization of what we really are. Even in the Yoga Vasistha there are some stories of body dissolution due to Realization of the Self. Lots of Yogi also speaks about body dissolution due to Samadhi. It Is something that a Master or and advanced Yogi Is able to do. Some do It some not. Depends on them. In the yoga Vasistha there Is a story of a young man doing it's sadhana, then meeting a Guru in the forset that explane Is the Truth about the Self, the Jnana teaching, and he understands the teaching so well that seats in meditation and disappiers leaving no trace of his body. Not bad i would say.
The Buddha is very powerful, very powerful, and that radiation is only a small part. Various miracles: knowing the past, future, present, knowing other people's thoughts. Disappearing and reappearing in another place, walking on water, diving, flying, seeing the beginning and end of the universe. and the rebirth of the universe into a hundred thousand kalpas This is a small part of the Buddha. Vipassana meditation practice It is what helps to reach nirvana. As for magical powers, it comes from practicing Samatha meditation, such as Abhiññā6 and Vijjā3.

As I climbed onto my roof I saw the great light in the sky announcing Ramana's passing. Many people saw this light, and most later reported that it resembled a meteor. It appeared to me in a different form: I saw a large pillar of light in the middle of the sky, about seven meters high and half a meter wide. Thank you. 🙏🏼 after 10 years of dedicated meditation practice, I can dissolve into the nothingness, but the problem is when it happens I become aware that it has happened and so I lose it - The awareness of it pushes it away. 😁 So now my practice is to be in the nothingness for as long as possible without noticing it. Surrender to bliss. Even being a few seconds in this spaciousness of light and expansive awareness every day has transformed me. 🙏🏼🌀❤️
you discovered the rigpa state, to develop your practice search for an explanation of the 4 Chogshag of Dzogchen (the continuation state).. once you will be stable, to attain rainbow body, you will have to learn the "Tögal" from a Vajrayana Lama. Tögal (or Thodgal) is the final step to recognize dualistic reality as illusion made of rays and light and is the final step to attain rainbow body. Without Togal there is no realization of the rainbow body, but you will be liberated in the Bardo of death and go in a Pure Realm or be free from samsara anyway. This is a short explanation based on the Vajrayana path of Dzogchen.

There's a Theravada sutta where an arahat-sorcerer enters Nirvana by floating up into the sky and dissolving his body into the base elements of earth, water, fire, and air. I can't remember which sutta, but I'm fairly certain it's in the medium length discourses. Funny sidenote, the Buddha witnessed.this and was totally ambivalent. Iirc his response was "That one came to do what was to be done."
Dakinis gave many teachings to Tibetan masters. Dakini are known in India to be flesh eating spirits. For example, Chod practice is offering body to demons. Some scholars found a links between Tibetan Buddhsim and demonology.

Hm, that’s contradictory to my experience. I was a devout Christian for 40 years, along with my husband. We sacrificed everything for the common good. We were unflinchingly honest, we were kind and in service to all because we believed “god” was watching, and there was going to be a magical checklist that would get us into heaven. We have been beat down like no one’s business. Our life was so hard it almost killed us. When a Christian minister told us we just needed to serve more, in order to get out of our situation, we almost lost it, especially me because I had given everything and was a husk of a woman because of it. I am no longer a Christian but I’ve learned through meditation and from the ascended masters, how to digest my pain and be “I am.” I’m still a kind person and that won’t change because it’s my nature, but peace came with facing death and acceptance of what is. Not through being nice.

It is ABSURD to think that the purpose of this reality is to TRANSCEND it. People have to understand that it’s not the Rainbow body itself that a practitioner is chasing, it is one of the byproduct of the achievement of realization, that’s what the practitioner is working toward, it’s is relaization. So I don’t think one should fantasize the rainbow body, that will be a fault start in itself.
i know how this is done and it’s actually very simple, but takes an immense amount of dedication and effort for most of us. not to mention courage, because it’s very intense. im saying all this just to point out that the title is misleading. no one agrees on where dzogchen or its two main practices originated. im guessing it’s because it’s older than the first writing in Tibet, which would suggest Bon, but Taoism mentions it (rainbow body practices) several hundred years earlier than the earliest Tibetan writing. Still doesn’t necessarily mean they discovered it. Honestly the practice is so simple and primal that it could be as old as mankind. It feels very shamanic. Im just thankful to the yogis and scholars who preserved it and now share it with us. 🙏

The Rainbow Body is represented by the idea of the World tree and the rainbow bridge in Wodin. As from above so shall be below. It's the idea of aligning your chakras and taking part in many esoteric rituals similar and related to Kundalini Yoga and Yogacara. The foundation of Hinduism and Buddhism is the Mahasiddhas that were everything Buddhism and Hinduism would become to be. It's about becoming one with the All Father, Sky or Sun God through enlightened practice. Body, mind and speech meditation often involving manifestation of demons/deities or possession. Siddhas by definition are to attain magical powers and the Rainbow body is to become no longer human.

A really interesting parallel would be the scene from the 1st Matrix movie when trinity and switch picked neo up in a vehicle admist heavy rainfall. The rain falling corresponds to code (or 0s and 1s of info) falling down the green screen. In our current Era we are interacting with information at an alarming pace. Insomuch the amount can overwhelm (or flood).. Meditation, or stilling the mind aids the aforementioned. And, through kundalini yoga, one may experience all colors in the rainbow you see after it rains.

This is possibly very true some evidence of more and more people becoming more aware of the abilities the mind can do, some cultures refere the ascension as a shift into christ consciousness which opens the doors of our minds to tap into the ethereal field and be able to heal oneself or others "magically" but I myself think its maybe more of a matter of believing that you can alter your life force and make it better if there's a pothole in your existence. Reminds me of a study preforming placebo major surgeries that only knocked a person out they made an incision and just stitch it back and tell the patients it was a success, a high percentage of the tested subjects were cured immediately just cause the brain was unaware for a moment and believed what they were told happened in that period it was blind. In the West, this body is known as the "Body of Glory". Yes, Jesus appeared before his disciples in this body, as did many saints in the Catholic Church. The phenomenon is also known for the power of bilocation (appearing in several places at once). The physical body is in one place meditating or praying and its glory body moves to other places to heal and bring messages. Translation or transfiguration is possible. When thermodynamics destroy the body, it destroys hair and nails with it. But with translation, it’s a higher authority of electromagnetism that overcomes the physical body. Lighter and more efficacious, it’s not destructive enough to burn hair and nails.

The Guru of Nisargadatta who is Siddharameshwar Maharaj said in his book that we must transcend not only the causal body but also the to find final liberation, ie, Paramatman. For me a question I would like to answer is if it is possible, and how it is possible to achieve a dual sense of identity by both achieving realization while maintaining a strong subtle body that lives experiences for its own sake. Being the watcher and the player at once, and enjoying the great play with delight while also acting the local play with absolute delight and variety. One of the most spiritual and beautiful things I’ve experienced. The reference in writing is not as evident as it is in art. The Asian art has a more realistic representation of this especially the older works all parts of the world has record .
Similar to saints in the Catholic religion having an uncorruptible body. Some saints have been exhumed after long periods of time and their bodies have not decomposed anywhere near the level expected. Also when exhumed they often give off a floral type scent instead of the rancid smell one would expect. The more we're different, we are all just doing the same thing

I have been contemplating something gor quite some time now regarding the idea of the light body activation and the level of radiation that may result from this. I am assuming at this point that many people have atleast heard the theory that Jesus may have gone to Indian, Kashmir, and Tibet during the lost 18 yrs of his life in the gospels and "grew in knowledge and wisdom." My question is this. IF!.... and i do mean if. These stories could be true and Jesus reached that highest level of enlightenment. Could the activation of the Rainbow light body explain something like the Shroud of Turin? Because I've heard researchers say that the image on the shroud is basically an X-ray negative. And if the light body activation were to give of radiation as i would assume it would considering the amount of electrical energy in our body. Could this be an explanation?
In physics these rainbows are called Brocken Spectre or Glory. I have seen a Glory and they are real. Information on Brocken Spectre would fit in very well with your well-made video.
The major factor which is stopping the majority of people understanding what a "rainbow body" is the bad translation of Jalü or Jalus. It doesn't mean rainbow body. When you say rainbow to someone they immediately think of seven colours and light. When the Jalü actually happens the body radiates five colours not seven. These five colours are associated with the elements, think of the colours of the Tibetan prayer flags. So a better English translation should be the luminous elemental body

I suspect that the rainbow body is also something that you must acquire. You only have that immortal body if you are successful.

The being is more in tune with the energy, spirit, lightbody, doesn't matter what one would like to call it. They are no longer matter or dence. Even your breathing becomes light. It's like there is no one inside of the body.

I find that tibetan buddhism and vedic traditions go hand in hand. So many people try to argue these paths, but I think all paths ultimately are trying to get to the same point of realization of what we really are. Even in the Yoga Vasistha there are some stories of body dissolution due to Realization of the Self. Lots of Yogi also speaks about body dissolution due to Samadhi. It Is something that a Master or and advanced Yogi Is able to do. Some do It some not. Depends on them. In the yoga Vasistha there Is a story of a young man doing it's sadhana, then meeting a Guru in the forset that explane Is the Truth about the Self, the Jnana teaching, and he understands the teaching so well that seats in meditation and disappiers leaving no trace of his body. Not bad i would say.
The Buddha is very powerful, very powerful, and that radiation is only a small part. Various miracles: knowing the past, future, present, knowing other people's thoughts. Disappearing and reappearing in another place, walking on water, diving, flying, seeing the beginning and end of the universe. and the rebirth of the universe into a hundred thousand kalpas This is a small part of the Buddha. Vipassana meditation practice It is what helps to reach nirvana. As for magical powers, it comes from practicing Samatha meditation, such as Abhiññā6 and Vijjā3.

As I climbed onto my roof I saw the great light in the sky announcing Ramana's passing. Many people saw this light, and most later reported that it resembled a meteor. Thank you. 🙏🏼 after 10 years of dedicated meditation practice, I can dissolve into the nothingness, but the problem is when it happens I become aware that it has happened and so I lose it - The awareness of it pushes it away. 😁 So now my practice is to be in the nothingness for as long as possible without noticing it. Surrender to bliss. Even being a few seconds in this spaciousness of light and expansive awareness every day has transformed me. 🙏🏼🌀❤️

you discovered the rigpa state, to develop your practice search for an explanation of the 4 Chogshag of Dzogchen (the continuation state).. once you will be stable, to attain rainbow body, you will have to learn the "Tögal" from a Vajrayana Lama.
Tögal (or Thodgal) is the final step to recognize dualistic reality as illusion made of rays and light and is the final step to attain rainbow body. Without Togal there is no realization of the rainbow body, but you will be liberated in the Bardo of death and go in a Pure Realm or be free from samsara anyway.
This is a short explanation based on the Vajrayana path of Dzogchen.

There's a Theravada sutta where an arahat-sorcerer enters Nirvana by floating up into the sky and dissolving his body into the base elements of earth, water, fire, and air. I can't remember which sutta, but I'm fairly certain it's in the medium length discourses.
Funny sidenote, the Buddha witnessed.this and was totally ambivalent. Iirc his response was "That one came to do what was to be done."
Dakinis gave many teachings to Tibetan masters. Dakini are known in India to be flesh eating spirits. For example, Chod practice is offering body to demons. Some scholars found a links between Tibetan Buddhsim and demonology.

Hm, that’s contradictory to my experience.
I was a devout Christian for 40 years, along with my husband. We sacrificed everything for the common good. We were unflinchingly honest, we were kind and in service to all because we believed “god” was watching, and there was going to be a magical checklist that would get us into heaven.
We have been beat down like no one’s business. Our life was so hard it almost killed us. When a Christian minister told us we just needed to serve more, in order to get out of our situation, we almost lost it, especially me because I had given everything and was a husk of a woman because of it.
I am no longer a Christian but I’ve learned through meditation and from the ascended masters, how to digest my pain and be “I am.” I’m still a kind person and that won’t change because it’s my nature, but peace came with facing death and acceptance of what is. Not through being nice.

It is ABSURD to think that the purpose of this reality is to TRANSCEND it. People have to understand that it’s not the Rainbow body itself that a practitioner is chasing, it is one of the byproduct of the achievement of realization, that’s what the practitioner is working toward, it’s is relaization. So I don’t think one should fantasize the rainbow body, that will be a fault start in itself.

i know how this is done and it’s actually very simple, but takes an immense amount of dedication and effort for most of us. not to mention courage, because it’s very intense. im saying all this just to point out that the title is misleading.
no one agrees on where dzogchen or its two main practices originated. im guessing it’s because it’s older than the first writing in Tibet, which would suggest Bon, but Taoism mentions it (rainbow body practices) several hundred years earlier than the earliest Tibetan writing. Still doesn’t necessarily mean they discovered it. Honestly the practice is so simple and primal that it could be as old as mankind. It feels very shamanic. Im just thankful to the yogis and scholars who preserved it and now share it with us. 🙏

The Rainbow Body is represented by the idea of the World tree and the rainbow bridge in Wodin. As from above so shall be below. It's the idea of aligning your chakras and taking part in many esoteric rituals similar and related to Kundalini Yoga and Yogacara. The foundation of Hinduism and Buddhism is the Mahasiddhas that were everything Buddhism and Hinduism would become to be. It's about becoming one with the All Father, Sky or Sun God through enlightened practice. Body, mind and speech meditation often involving manifestation of demons/deities or possession. Siddhas by definition are to attain magical powers and the Rainbow body is to become no longer human.

The Guru of Nisargadatta who is Siddharameshwar Maharaj said in his book that we must transcend not only the causal body but also the to find final liberation, ie, Paramatman. But there is no talking about light body... Maybe the light body is yet limited in the great causal body? For me a question I would like to answer is if it is possible, and how it is possible to achieve a dual sense of identity by both achieving realization while maintaining a strong subtle body that lives experiences for its own sake. Similar to saints in the Catholic religion having an uncorruptible body. Some saints have been exhumed after long periods of time and their bodies have not decomposed anywhere near the level expected. I have been contemplating something gor quite some time now regarding the idea of the light body activation and the level of radiation that may result from this. I am assuming at this point that many people have atleast heard the theory that Jesus may have gone to Indian, Kashmir, and Tibet during the lost 18 yrs of his life in the gospels and "grew in knowledge and wisdom." My question is this. IF!.... and i do mean if. These stories could be true and Jesus reached that highest level of enlightenment. Could the activation of the Rainbow light body explain something like the Shroud of Turin? Because I've heard researchers say that the image on the shroud is basically an X-ray negative. And if the light body activation were to give of radiation as i would assume it would considering the amount of electrical energy in our body. Could this be an explanation?
In physics these rainbows are called Brocken Spectre or Glory. I have seen a Glory and they are real. Information on Brocken Spectre would fit in very well with your well-made video.
The major factor which is stopping the majority of people understanding what a "rainbow body" is the bad translation of Jalü or Jalus. It doesn't mean rainbow body. When you say rainbow to someone they immediately think of seven colours and light. When the Jalü actually happens the body radiates five colours not seven. These five colours are associated with the elements, think of the colours of the Tibetan prayer flags. So a better English translation should be the luminous elemental body
