Chad is responsible man I love how he tell her parents about them living together come with Som to meet and talk to her parents and also motivating Som ❤
I understand Som's dad feelings , as a father he is not wrong bcz he always treat Chad like his Son and suddenly he find out about their relationship but at least he should trust his daughter that she can't do anything wrong or should not judge Chad bcz of this one mistake
But when Chad refused to answer the question about marriage I don't think that he refused it bcz he is not serious about the relationship instead of this I think bcz of his parents relationship he fears that his and Som's relationship will also end like that or what if he can't get a job or end up like his parents or get divorced which is the trauma of his life 💔
First of all ,Som-o 's parents are really good actors . They made this drama more fun to watch! I can totally understand the father's frustration . Haha , especially when Chadjen refused to answer his question about marriage . It's like they're not serious about their relationship at all . Som and Chadjen really made a mistake this time ,just shows they are still young . I don't know but when I watched the original Chinese drama ,I thought the guy is a red flag . In this version ,Chadjen is giving the same red flag vibes but gentler ,maybe?

I agree him not responding makes the situation awkward but their relationship is fairly new so giving false promises is not something he wants. for students in college when someone asks what about the future there are a million different paths so it is difficult to give a precise answer whether that be about their career or relationships.
I also feel like he's not a red flag in this version, he's quiet but he's not as cold and doesn't mistreat her like in the Chinese and Korean versions but I think it's because here in this version they are childhood friends I don't remember if they are like that in the other versions , I don't think so.

I have to say, the father (the actor) AMAZING ACTOR‼️ like the anger I feel right now, and the tears that I have shed right now…just WOW 👏🏼. I have to get this off my chest though, I don’t think Som’s father has the right to get mad and react the way he did just now. For him to say that Chadjen lied or “betrayed his trust” is not fair. As if he hasn’t known Chadjen all his life, and has known that he has always respected Som. Also, the reason Som kept this secret from her parents (mostly father) is because he never gave her a reason to trust him. Som didn’t have that trust of her father, and that’s why she didn’t tell him anything. That’s not her fault. Why do you think children keep things away from their parents? Cause they are strict, and don’t trust their kids. Especially since Som’s father always told Som from the getgo to not have a boyfriend. The more you tell your child no on something…the more they will do it. Not to mention, SHE IS AN ADULT‼️. She can make her own decisions, she can decide who she wants to date. Plus like how Som’s mom said, atleast it’s not a random guy. They known each other since they were children! I get him not wanting Som to get hurt or played with, but literally getting mad at the fact he didn’t answer the question about marriage is ridiculous. They are still so new to them being a couple. It also seems that Som is fine with Chadjen not having an answer of marriage, she is just happy to be with him. Them being happy together should be enough. Chadjen is not playing with her feelings cause he does like her as well. Let life take its course, and if they want to get married then they will. Som’s dad can’t always protect/shield her from getting her heart broken, and it sucks but that’s just life. Why putting so much expectations on Chadjen?? Them having him fake promise and give false hope is not fair to him or them. They are still so young, why are expecting them to have their 💩 together? Not to mention, it’s understandable why Chadjen is iffy on marriage based on his trauma with seeing his parents fighting then divorcing. It’s a valid worry/fear to have, so give Chadjen a break! 😤

Som’s father’s acting is so real whatttt? His emotions are so intact😢it’s just like it’s his daughter in real life that he’s being protective of🥺❤️👏🏼

8:03 Som's father acting is so good. It seems like he is not acting, he genuinely cares for Som like a real father. And yeah Som's mother is so understanding but Som's father is not completely wrong with Som's dating to Chadjen. I mean he is a father who always wants her daughter to be safe and happy. A father can't see that A guy dates her daughter without the intention of marrying her. Som's father is absolutely right. If Chadjen doesn't know what is his future plan with Som, he shouldn't date her... Afterall a father always wants A guy who loves his daughter more than him, a guy who sees his future with her, a guy who admits that he loves his daughter with pure heart and it's not a timepass. Atleast a guy who can assure his father how serious he is about her daughter... But sorry to say, Chadjen is not comfortable with the word marriage, because he had seen how his mother and father quarrelled with each other in their married life, they weren't happy. So, I think Chadjen runs away from marriage, because he had seen a failed marriage that is his mother and father's.. So there is no one wrong here, everyone is right in his own place except the situation, it's the situation that is wrong....

A very touching scene. Clearly there is a huge difference in culture between Thailand and the UK from where I come. At their age, it would be considered to be too early for them to commit to marriage. Statistics show that very early marriages have higher than normal possibility for divorce. Young people mature earlier than ever, particularly as their minds are opened to worldly realities by the internet and social media. It would be unreasonable not to expect them to participate in sexual intercourse because this is natural without which there would be no children born. So, sex should never be treated as a sin. They need to be educated in contraception and how drugs, especially alcohol can lead to unsafe sex.

I get that som's dad is frustrated..but this is not the right way to act. He allowed somo to date but still always acted like he didn't want her date anyone yet and that's the exact reason why somo didn't want to tell her family about ut. Also marriage is a big thing, You can't jump to it right away...give them time let them figure out their future.
