Tao loves Som so unconditionally. His love is so pure, i mean every time he proves it whenever Som is in any trouble, Tao is the first one who helps her, without getting anything from back.... I know Chadjen is not a red flag but he is also not a green flag, I mean he is not completely sure whether he is going to marry her or not whereas New is so sure that he will marry Khao at the end whatever happens.... So I feel Sorry for Som, she loves Chadjen whole heartedly, she loves him so much that she left her house only for him. But Chadjen has no guts to admit that he loves Som, to admit that no matter whatever happens, he will marry Som, he will never leave Som. As a girl, I want someone who has the guts to say in front of my parents that I love your daughter and I will marry her, not like Chadjen who refused to marry Som in front of her father. I mean he didn't refuse but he didn't give any answer to him yet. And it has the same meaning that he doesn't have the plan to marry her. He didn't stay silent because he didn't wanna have a forever with her. He stayed silent because he associates marriage to broken hearts and losing your loved ones. Which he doesn't wanna happen in his life with Somo. He loves her so much and when somo said she wants to prove how serious their relationship is to her parents, he agreed.

I know there are absolutely cultural differences but this is 2024 and Som-O is grown. He was encouraging them both to date but is backtracking now. Who is telling 19/20 year Olds to get married! I understand being upset that they lied but not about them dating, living together and not getting married. They were practically living together under his roof when the were in high school. This a a bit of a turn off for me. I am big on rejecting hypocrisy. He practically raised this young man and now all the sudden he is not good enough. Nope! Good acting by the cast in these scenes, though. This version is nothing like the original version. 😄.

She even stressed that she's in the right AGE to make a DECISION . She's correct but SHE CANNOT STAND ON HERSELF yet . Remember, she's a student . Where does she gets her money ? When she have problem , who's the first one who will be there? The flashback should've already reminded her that it was and will be her PARENTS. Instead of humbling herself and asking for an apology for LYING ,she acted like a child who wasn't given a candy . I like this series so much enough to write a whole paragraph LOL. Especially since Som’s father always prohibited her from having a boyfriend. Now that Som’s and ADULT, living on her own…she can make her own decisions. So, it’s not fair on Som being an adult but being controlled by her father in terms of dating. That’s how it is with strict parents, the more you don’t put trust in your child the more they will do things in secret. The more you prohibit your child in doing something, the more they will do it. Also, Som has not yelled or thrown a fit. If anything, she literally went home with them. Her dad forced her to come home, and that’s why she chose to run away. Also, that only results in resenting her parents more since she didn’t even come down to dinner.
