    while not mentioned here, the Hex red dots have the battery on the bottom of the unit. This means that the unit needs to be dismounted from the gun to replace that battery. In my mind, this makes it a non-starter.
    But it's nice to see that Springer has added the availability of a manual safety. This was a major a advantage of the P365. I hope it will be available on the base model also.

      Both the RMCs and SMCs that came with the original Hellcat also have the battery in the bottom. Yes, kind of a pain in the ass. But with an almost 2 year battery life, it’s really no biggy.

    2 year battery life for the micro red dot wasp? I get the best batteries and it last for 3 months max.

    How is the Manual Safety? Easy to engage and disengage?

      I bit stiff at first but it loosens up. You can flip it with your shooting hand thumb with your hand on the grip.

    What gun is the holster for? Is it just the standard hellcat or a different model gun

    • @TreeFiddy350
      @TreeFiddy350 3 роки тому

      It appears to be for the standard Hellcat. This holster has an open muzzle area, so the compensator can poke through.

    When will people realize that a laser on bottom is better than a red dot sight on top on your edc weapon since most defense situation are happening at a close range before you’ll get a chance to even turn your red dot on. A green laser/light that activates upon grip however is far better. Plus while the hellcat is a nice idea with its high capacity you’ll rarely need that many rounds, and no I’m no Biden fan in control of small mags, just no fan of extra rounds/weight you wouldn’t need. My shield 2.0 in .40s&w with the grip activated green laser/light with no sight on top makes for a quicker and less chance of snag. Also, while I run a compensator on my 10mm XDM for match/home defense unless your 9mm ammo is +p I doubt ya need that compensator much. All in all while I love my Springfield Armory guns and it’s an interesting package they’re now offering , if they would’ve focused on and added a green laser/light they made in house instead of a red dot I’d be all over it, might still get it when gun prices go back down, if ever. And yeah I know you can add your own laser/light, but at that point the gun is well over a grand. Some may find it worth it to spend that much on your edc tricking it out more than your match or home defense gun. But personally I think the extra weight and space is unneeded, hey just my opinion though that I’m sure some will agree with and some won’t.

      I do not like the Hex Wasp red dot included. It looked like to me a bright pulsating star burst instead of a red dot. Also there is no manual adjustment for brightness as they have a light sensor but from what I’ve heard they placed the sensor in a bad place especially for normal shadow.

      While I hope no one needs the full 13 rounds for defense, the capacity is great if you have the gun at the range and spend less time reloading magazines.
