A drain pan for under a water heater works well as a water catcher under a large planter. They come with a drain plug on the side that a hose screws onto so you can then drain any excess water over the side or into a bucket to be used in another planter and not drip down onto a neighbor or flood your patio.

You’re so smart!😊😊😊😊😊
I'm planning to plant my potatoes in boxes, too. I watched a progression on planting potatoes this way from start to harvest on another channel, and I waa shocked how productive they were! He just turned up the flaps from both enda, put 6" planting mix, plant potatoes, then covered with straw or leaves. He put more straw or leaves on as the plants grew. I forked too many in the garden bed last year! Boxes it is.
Omg! You are adorable! This is my first time watching your channel. I feel like you were a teacher in a previous life. 😂. Great video and very informative. Thank you so much for this! 😊
Just luv your videos. I learn something new from every video. I have grown potatoes for several years. Last year I used any container that would hold dirt. Feed bags, old buckets, cloth grocery tote bags. This year I'm going to use cardboard boxes too. Thank you Mrs. H. 🧑🌾
This is the best ! She’s adorable and natural
We had an organic market garden 5 acres in the 80’s

In my area of Florida, between Hurricanes and summer rain, we need to grow almost everything in raised beds or pots. All the boxes are great as they break down!

I love your cats!

Your cats are too cute!
A drain pan for under a water heater works well as a water catcher under a large planter. They come with a drain plug on the side that a hose screws onto so you can then drain any excess water over the side or into a bucket to be used in another planter and not drip down onto a neighbor or flood your patio.
Enjoying your video.. and am learning so much. Thank you 🙏
The grocery stores have a lot of tissue boxes, just ask for them , thank you Mrs H for all of your gardening knowledge, I planted my seeds that I purchased from you and now I’m getting to plant them outside, thanks for all that you do, I just started gardening a couple of years ago and wondered why my stuff wasn’t growing, thanks to you, I now know why😆❤️
Happy to see you all. Garden is starting to look nice. Have a great day. Lv and Prayers to all.

I'm a new listener! So glad to find you. I am limited as to what I can do right now up here in Montana as it is still snowing every day and I'm going stir crazy! Your video is wonderful friendly and satisfying that green thumb itch till the weather breaks for me. I'm going to try out your box method this year for my potatoes.
