Same. The last time I was it was for RDR2. But 10x more for this game.
The only times I’ve actually been this desperate for a game to the point where I can’t fall asleep without thinking of my next adventure is when I was playing RDR2. This game won’t come near RDR2 in my opinion, because that game is just the greatest game I’ve ever played in my life. But this game is such a masterpiece, it is going to be a tough game of the year 2020 for me, between this and the other games coming out this year.

Note : The Ronin set actually gets you different staw hats for each updates, which is not showin here. It's worth upgrading for that alone, because those hats are super cool. Also Samurai Clan armor gives you a face mask not shown here at level 3

For those of you who have watched The Last Samurai, the fully upgraded Sakai Clan Armor somewhat resembles the armor worn by Ujio, the samurai played by Hiroyuki Sanada in the movie.

Yeah and its inaccurate for the era, the scale armors were used in 17th cent. Guess they added them to please the last samurai fans. All of the armors look dope tho

BTW, the Ronin armor does change form (kinda), when you upgrade it you get different headgear. The straw hat gets more solid and well built with each upgrade.

Arekkz I’m pretty sure the Ronin armor comes with the “weathered” straw hat and when you upgrade the armor you unlock a better/more filled in straw hat.

Jim Bean it does upgrade the hat to the swordmaster hat and then a black one when you upgrade it a third time. I forget the name of that one. Your talking about the betrayer hat at the end of act 1.

I honestly think the ronin armor looks the coolest in the game. It’s also very good, it improves melee weapon damage by 30% when fully upgraded.

Mugi yeah it is, I just thought it was cool. I’m a fan of the infamous series so it struck with me. I know everyone kinda disliked second son because it was so short, but I like the whole series since it plays at different angles and such.

As for armor I like the Ghost armor.
The maxed out version of the Sakai Clan Armour with the Special Black Dye looks so good!
@DencoCar 133 No the special dye. The one you get for separate. The one you get from black dye specialist. It is shiny black with a bit of rainbowish look. Check it in google

the "problem" is there's too many to choose from lol, i never know when to wear different ones so i'm mostly in an upgraded travel armor, also theres the "hero of tsushima" set that comes wit the digital deluxe version
Gosaku's armor is my go to armor , if you're into the sneaky way ghost armor might suit you

Been running traveler's with white dye all through first act, fully liberated. About ready to take a run at act 2.
Same, white travellers outfit looks so good. Even though the travellers outfit doesn't help in combat, it doesn't matter if you level up your blade and can parry. My sword is level 4 rn and I'm about to do the broken blacksmith mission in act 1
This is the first game in a long time that I actually enjoy exploring!

But when I'm bored, I just mix and match between Kensei and some masks and hats.
But for Khotun, though...especially for him on those ships?
I went full Yoshitsune in Dan-o-Ura, with Gosaku.
That setting is just too tempting for a historical nerd like me lol.

When I get the game, I'm gonna use the Travellers attire, Ronin armor Kensei armor and Ghost armor with a straw hat cuz this game reminds me in some ways of Samurai Jack but more realistic. I wanna go the Samurai Jack route in a kimono. I always liked the traveling samurai more than a suit of armor
There's a sot in act one where you can dye your Ronin kimono white. The guy who does it is somewhere up on a mountain.

@@emiliozamora507 boss fight at the end of act 1 gives a hat similar to Jack's, can also buy some straw hats from merchants for flowers.
@@emiliozamora507 Upgrading the Ronin attire will give you new straw hats, the 2nd one being similar to Jack's, another one also comes from a Mythical Tale in Act 2 that rewards you with the Kensei attire, with the first upgrade for it also awarding you a new straw hat which this one does resemble Jack's a lot more than the Sword Master's Hat from upgrading the Ronin one.
I love the mask of Tomoe, I'm not sure what armor will be the best looking match for it though. I do wish there was an unbroken version of the mask
I use the non upgraded kensei look with the upgraded metal hat and I put on the red and black dye.
Sometimes I use the white dye Sakai clan armour with tomoe’s mask. The whole white theme looks pretty good. Or the mythic archer gear could look good too
Looks cool with the ghost armor or the kensei armor with the black dye and then the black strawhat from the ronin armor upgrade 3 I believe?
I wear it with White/Red Ronin armor and sword master’s hat. Looks pretty matching for me
The thief wrap is my favorite all black. Feels like I’m playing ninja style 🙏🏽💯

My favorite armour is the "Ghost Armour" and I really his father sakai clan mask. And the "Chaos Headband" really cool too!
Sakai and Gosaku armor are the best imo. They have the best combat perks by far. Either straight up more damage or more stagger, both amazing for duels. I like the standoff streak on Sakai and the ability to combine the stagger and heal on staggered kill from Gosaku with the Charm that makes you unstoppable for 6 seconds after staggering an enemy. You basically trade being a standoff murder machine for a general combat murder machine.

What would the DLC consist of? I'm curious. Would it feature more areas to roam, more activities and/or another story branch? Or would it just be cosmetic DLC? I would hope not the latter. The game is pretty engaging, so I'd welcome a DLC that'd expand more on the longevity of it.

Damn, was hoping there'd be a light "thief" armor of sorts with a hood and bandana... In other words, something that I could use to make Jin to look something like our idea of a "Ninja" (Shinobi).

I like the avenging warlord mask, it truly makes me feel like a noble feudal samurai
I think my favorite armor set has to be the fully maxed Kensei armor with the Betrayer's hat and Wolf mask. Just has a vibe to it that I like.
The most armor i like is the Kensei’s set form the trailer.
I think the kensai armour would fit with the betrayers hat than the kensai hat refined and improved.

Customisation in this game is brilliant also just so you all know if you like the look of a particular armour but not so much after upgrading it, then you can change the appearance back in the menu.
They just NEED to have a show/hide bow and arrows option, at least for some armours like the Ronin attire because it ruins the look.

The whole design of the game and the music are so beautiful...
So many cool sets to mix and match! But of all of them, Kensei definitely speaks to my romantic vision of a samurai. I think when fully upgraded, and combined with the Wolf of Tsushima mask, I can have a Jin who has gone back to basics truly adapting from nature to create his new persona and style of "the Ghost'!

They all look great. I hope that a variation of the Shinto priests/monks outfits become available at some point - or even better, something like the Spirit of Yarikawa's outfit.
It's quite specific and not an obvious one, I would just love to rock something like that (with the huge sleeves) when I'm out and about killing Mongols and rogue Ronin.

Really lovin the richness of this game. So far, it’s provin to be a rare classic like LA Noire, Bloodborne, God of War, Witcher 3, Yakuza 0, Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 5, Hellblade, and Sekiro.

@Jesus Supreme no Jesus, Bloodborne is a flop from the souls series. You could say DS or demon souls is a classic, as they are, they paved ways for sekiro, Bloodborne and other games. They brought difficulty is fun into the equation of gaming, and ended hand holding games. GTA V is not a classic. GTA paved nothing. It's story was pathetic for the GTA games (it felt like they wanted to go a saints row route) if he said San Andreas or Vice sure. But not V. V is just known becay the time it's sold in, and multiplayer. It's honestly a trash game. People just love the name. GTA because of classics like San Andreas and Vice. Shoot, gtaIV was a better game...

@@redshirtjake just complete the Platinum trophy for the game, I honestly thought it would be hard but all you have to do is complete the map and like 6/7 hidden challenges which are to collect the sly Cooper gear and wear it, kick someone off a ledge, use the Sakai armor to hit a 5 man standoff and play a song at a friends grave then bow to 10 hidden statues and I'm blanking on the others put you can go on the PlayStation app and they reveal hidden trophy details so you'll know what you need. I really hope I was of some help and all you guys get it done, cheers. (Edit: I've listed all hidden trophies above minus where you have to complete all the character tales which falls in line with complete the map but just have to add that, As well as the song to play at an old friends grave Is Lament of the Storm and I think it's Taka or Ryuzos grave I'm not 100% but a quick UA-cam search will help).
That’s just the ghost armor fully upgraded, the platinum trophy just unlocks that skin color for the outfit

A new update came out where you can press triangle to change the armor appearance between the old and the new upgrades.

@@mobin0557 Do you have the Ghost armor fully upgraded? If so, then you are simply using the first upgrade version of it instead of the 2nd version which has the longer cape and in this dye's case, colored red.

@@lars4108 its not that far a reach. The world you are in Bloodborne is the Hunter's Dream and it is haunted by the Great ones, thats where they might took the name "Haunted Dreams". And the mask looks 100% the same as the mask worn of the The hunter armor set. I also think the description " worn by those who seen death" is a reference to the games difficulty cause you die alot in Bloodborne. This is not the only easster egg i found in this game mostly PlayStation exclusives. so its not impossible that they added one for Bloodborne too since there is like 10 of this that are cleary referring to PlayStation games. Another example is 10:16 is the head band the main character in infamous second son wears and the name of the band is clearly referring to it

Ergic Gaming Would be awesome if it actually is a BB easter egg, since that game is probably my favorite game of all time. I just don’t really see the similarities between the masks, except that they’re both ninjaesque masks of course. The one in Bloodborne is just kind of gray, while this one is more blue and has a pattern on it too. The description and name is also just vague, and it’s definitely not obvious what it refers to. Might be BB, but idk. Still seems like bit of a reach to me

You can, I’m 10 hours in and I’ve gotten a lot of clothing. you can mix and match hats and masks and armor. Also if you collect flowers you can dye your clothes at a merchant.

Find the helmet selection mostly bland with a good 2/3 being just a basic head band.
I only just stared but think I will be playing most of the game in full samurai amour and helmet but might switch between the 2-3 masks I like.
I just rock gosaku's armour in ocean blue or the awesome black one or I go full sekiro with the maxed out ghost armour with the black Sakai helmet

The headbands are so boring and most of the vanity gear is just head bands

its one of the two colors you get after completing the game depending which ending you choose.
you only have the choice between one of the two colors, meaning you can only keep one.
