Because of the choke point, the Templars we're grouped together in a small area directly in front of their enemy - resulting in a large portion of them being taken out with each attack. In addition, the lack of guard rails on the walkway caused a bunch of the Templars to simply fall off the map - reducing the number of targets the god needed to defeat. Even if the results would be mostly the same on an open field, the Templars being bottlenecked still significantly tipped the scales in the gods' favor.
@@RedCrusader-ph2vk It's not significant in any way. With the range and rate of fire, the templars will get picked off one at a time bottleneck or not. It's just going to take longer, especially since they wouldn't have the mobility to run or close the distance. The bottleneck might have changed the process, but not the ultimate result.

This needs to be done on an open field for it to be fair. The choke point turned this into more of a Rate of Fire test than anything else.
I think the results would be mostly the same, given the opponents made no move to maintain their range advantage, sometimes even actively reducing it.
