    This has taken over about an acre of wooded area on my property, I hate the idea of spraying such a huge area with herbicides, I'm at a loss.

    Can you please suggest the least terrible chemical to use to kill it?

      As this plant grows near water, it should be applied by a certified applicator under conditions specified on the label (not just amount, but no rain or wind, etc.) They often use Rodeo or Garlon

    I have an invasion of these in my backyard. I'm trying very hard to remove them. They can suffocate a garden in no time.

      They're definitely one of our worst spring time invasive exotic plants!
