That man could have stayed in his house and called the police. He did not have to come outside and shoot that lady.
Exactly
So sad to watch.
But, she looked the part of a Scammer. You know the Type. Glad that the guy protected himself and taught that Woman a lesson.
@@PoeLemic I want to hope you’re trolling. But old ladies who can barely walk are not “the type” to scam.
@@PoeLemicYou are a racist, the woman (Uber)was scammed too, she was called by the scammer to “pick up” a package and the guy who did not value her life quickly shot an unarmed elderly woman.
At 61, that lady just wanted to make a living, her life ended in the most tragic, senseless and brutal way. Truly heart breaking!

@@AnimeShinigami13 Florida does too. I doubt his situation qualifies. He was in no immediate physical danger.
He did not immediately know that nor should he have assumed that she was unarmed, he was told on the phone someone was coming to his house to collect the money or kill him. Do you even read into context or just post about your feelings?
@@nosteponsnek2617 He knew she was unarmed after he shot her the first time. Just because you have a suspicion doesn't mean you can take the law into your own hands. It's funny how the true victim is being overlooked. He even told her I am going to shoot you in the head. She sat in his driveway for a while before he emerged with that hand gun. I wish I could turn off the comments. At this point stop commenting. You’re not changing my mind. I’m never going to sympathize with a murderer period. He shot and killed that woman. She’s dead and she’s not coming back. He gets to at least live his life in prison and get to communicate to loved ones with letters, visits, and phone calls. She doesn’t get to do that because she’s in a GRAVE. He shot her onceee she backed up and fell to the ground. She was on the GROUND BEGGING FOR HER LIFE and then he shot her again multiple times to make sure she was dead. There’s only ONE victim here. Period.

So true, I wrote something similar an hour ago and my comment was deleted. I don’t get why they protect this man so much, what he did to this woman is horrible.

Actually he did call the cops, if you do some research for yourself. Not just for this instance, but for previous ones. They wouldn't show up.
Uber Drivers are literally just called up to pick up a person or item, they don't know the details or situation. it'd be like getting angry at the mailman for over some scam done over the mail. It's meaningless.
I hope the person goes to prison for life for what he did to her. A smart person would simply hang up the phone and call the relative to see if they are okay. The guy is still going to prison, it doesn't matter what someone in the phone said, confronting someone with a gun, going after them while they are screaming help, taking their phone, and then shooting them not once but 3 times...is crazy. Just brandishing a firearm on someone is illegal in places. And according to A.P. he was on the phone with scammer for hours, and had money on the table, meaning instead of calling the police, he was purposely going to shoot whomever came to the door. He then called the police, and the officer told the scammer, they were the actual police, and the scammer hung up. It sucks that he got scammed, but he went WAY out of the way to do WAY TOO MUCH.
I absolutely agree! He needs to be jailed and she wasn't even a threat whatsoever!
Someone tried this with my father, saying they were my son and in jail, asking for $5,000 to be wired somewhere for bail. The only problem was my son (and only grandchild) was sitting next to my father during the call. He played along for a while, then when he asked for a name and DOB, the scammer hung up.
Both the banks and the cellphone companies could help prevent this from happening, yet they profit billions and do absolutely nothing.💯💯💯
It’s weird that when I had to take a large amount out the bank in person (for houses, and for a settlement to my ex) they had so much extra security and had to go through a specialist at the bank who sat me down and asked me various questions about what I was using the money for, what I did for a living etc. I wasn’t even offended because I get that they have to take precautions even if they know it’s my money. How is it so easy for others to take 50k out the bank with no questions asked??
Care to explain in detail how banks and phone companies can stop this? I'm betting not.
@bobroberts2371 Phone companies have technology that can stop scammers from spoofing phone numbers. They also have technology that can tell where a call originates from.
Banks can install protocols of having clients (especially the elderly) fill out details about what the money they want to withdraw is for. Had the bank mgr. simply asked the details of why the woman wanted to withdraw this large amount of cash, the scam would've ended right there before any damage was done.
@@victortoombs4754 said " Banks can install protocols of having clients (especially the elderly) fill out details about what the money they want to withdraw is for. "
What about a non elderly person with a disability? Would you want the bank to ask them too? How would the bank determine the threshold as who to ask? Would you hold the bank liable if they didn't properly identify a disabled person? Would you be OK with telling the bank what all $ you withdraw is for?
Yeah Right damnn consumers are gonna bitch about not having access to thier money.

Free the grandpa! He deserves to rest his last few years in peace
