She's the only character that made me cry and that I can't stop thinking about after beating the game, so yeah I agree. She was the best character in the game by far.
Nanakis story.. Barret's background and orc Aerith. There have been plenty of sad and touching moments.

Aerith is my favorite Final Fantasy character since the OG and Remake and mostly Rebirth made me love her even more
Mine too but I prefered og Aerith. She wasn't so manipulative of Cloud. Was probably the most mature of the characters. Saw through Cloud AND Zack. And gotta love that street savy. When you go out of honey bee inn and she is surrounded by men. Clouds first reaction - she is being bothered. Not at all. She was selling guys flowers for the escorts. 100 gil for one! The same she sold you for 1 XD
What makes Aerith the best female character in the series is how mysterious and adorable her personality and how amazing she was by accepting her fate and Sacrifice her dreams and her live to save the plant and how she knows about cloud mental state and she was trying so hard to find the real cloud and bring him to his real self. In her novel we find out that she help tifa get to cloud Consciousness and help him out bec she couldn't and even though she is no longer Exist she still watching over cloud and the others to make sure that they are ok she is such the GOAT for reall 😢👏❤️

In ultimania they commented remakes Cloud interaction with girls. Jessie slightly annoyed knows she is playing a role and the interaction is about her. Tifa completely relaxed because she doesn't challenge him with anything. He can say whatever. But Aerith...Cloud is full shield mode because she will challenge him to the point of saying what he truly is thinking. Funny thing is he starts to like it.
In og she also was the star. That's why her death was so painfull.
I like Tifa but Aerith is the star of the game. When I saw the backstory about her mother and hearing her sing No Promises to Keep, I was crying my eyes out 😭
Aerith is a goddess. I wasn't so much into her in the OG. I initially wanted this story to play out exactly like in the OG because I loved that game. But then I fell so hard for Aerith in Remake/Rebirth that I didn't even care anymore. Everything I wanted now was to save her.
Of course, she's the MVP of FF7 remake/rebirth (plot-wise) she's the only character who's actively fighting Sephiroth and sacrificed herself for Cloud, Gaia and even Tifa. She's hated because of toxic shippers. I like Tifa but they keep making Aerith memes and kind of ruining the character.
Sakaguchi was asked who is the protagonist of ff7. Its funny. The idea was its really Aerith. He said its Cloud and game is Cloud centric. Funny how the community missinterprets the characters. Basic idea god of ff said Cloud is the protagonist. Group of fans - Noooo it is Zack🤦. This community is so divided its doomed.
Honestly, Tifa has always been my favorite character but Rebirth made me absolutely adore Aerith. She’s probably my favorite to play as too. I get emotional if I think about her sometimes which is insane for me. I only get like that over Tidus and Yuna haha.

I LOVE all the characters (yes Tifa AND Aerith) and I'm not even a shipper either but Aerith is the star in terms of the grand story I think outside of Cloud. No characters gets me emotional like her. Barret is second. If you look at the voice cast during the credits, Brianna White (Aerith) is second listed only to Cloud.
I agree with the title. Idk if you guys are into energy healing or healers but she's the true definition of it! She speaks to plants and flowers and it's so interesting because in many cultures plants have a spirit of their own.
A flower bachman company in Hawaii ask plants permission before extracting their nutrients into oils. Native Americans also have their own way of communicating to plants and the Universe.
Aerith is perceptive. She can sense Cloud isn't being himself. But she knows how to break his shells and soften his heart, like an empath.
We can see from her childhood that she didn't fit in. When you research about starseeds, Aerith's personality and life resonates with their description.
Aerith also reminds me of a Shaman. Shamans can go into a trance to see the past and try to fix things spiritually. Only culture, Shamans can also battle against the bad spirits. It's like Aerith is trying to battle Sephirorth and he's the evil spirit.
This Final Fantasy is my most favorite. There is more to just the story! The game relates to different cultural views of life and the planet.
Feeling the weight of her loss is gonna be sad, but super interesting.
imo aerith is one of the best fictional characters ever. if they changed the story for her to be saved in the next game i lowkey wouldn’t even be mad (i don’t necessarily think it’s the best choice, but for me personally i’d be down for it). i’m not much into shipping, but i do think she’s better suited for cloud than tifa. i just think it’s hella beautiful the way they perfectly balance each other out. every flaw one has is made up for by the other’s strength and every strengths one has makes up the other’s flaw. her relationship with cloud is for me what makes her such a good character

They killed her off in the Beagle timeline. Square Enix is making us wait for the 3rd game before we know 100% what's going on.
I subscribe to the fan theory that when Cloud deflected Sephiroth's blade a new world was created and some version of Aerith survived. I think that Cloud is simultaneously seeing both timelines... His own the beagle Stamp dog timeline and this new timeline. Again just theory crafting so until the 3rd game is released, we have to make good assumptions.

@@ourfamilyaccountAgreed and don't forget the same thing happened to Zack at the end of Remake. We as a group just followed the Terrior timeline after the bullet hit his cheek. In the Beagle timeline, that bullet took him out.
Same thing happened to Aerith. In the Beagle timeline she died, and in the new timeline she didn't. We just didn't follow the Aerith surviving timeline.
That being said, we still have the Terrior timeline Aerith, that Marlene is trying to get Zack to save Cloud, so Cloud can save Aerith. Because Marlene knows if she wakes up and Cloud isn't healthy, he can't save her.
@@ourfamilyaccount Nope. They already stated that they are going the route of "real life coping" in form of cloud just blocking out what happned. Thats why the Burial was missing. It happned he just blocked it out as indicated by the "headaches".

Of course I can say a bit about Aerith a little since I like her in Remake right there and definitely love her straight up in Rebirth more from where they were going with some cool moments that happen during it I enjoy in it in my opinion
Top Aerith moments 1. Her death in the OG FFVII 2. First encounter with cloud at Midgar 3. Second encounter with cloud at the church at Midgar 4. Her childhood trial at the temple of the ancients

Most improved: Yuffie. I love how she’s obsessed with materia but by the end only cares about rescuing Aerith 😢
Aerith is ultimately the best girl of FF7. Good thing I choose her over Tifa. (Although I do like Tifa a lot but I love Aerith more.)

That you're opinion. To me she is the worst character.
- Her death could have been avoided if she had been with the team instead of running on herself in bothe the original and rebirth.
- why did she think she could have saved the planet alone? In the end Sephiroth blocked her prayers and it was up to the team to beat him.
- She wanted Cloud to open up while she herself was keeping secrets. She can hear the planet voices and she had a plan to stop Sephiroth but decided to do it herself, causing her death. She ain't a team player.
These are what I think her character flows. This is honestly what makes this game ageless. It wrote characters with such flows that you can recognise it with yourself or someone you know. I don't agree with her decisions but these are my opnion on her character. But she completes the game and narrative that I can't imagine playing the game without her for me to hate ❤.

Aerith knows shes gonna die and she separated herself from the rest of the party so they wouldnt save her, aerith needs to sacrifice herself and die so she can command the lifestream and use holy, if she told any of that to cloud or tifa they for sure wouldnt let her die, but in the end she knew what must be done.
sephiroth didnt block her prayers, holy was actually activated but it was too late... aerith ended up using the lifestream at the last minute to save the planet, it wasnt the party... shes a cetra she can command the lifestream... hope that makes sense.
idk how u can say a character that sacrificed herself so her friends and literally the whole planet to live "not a team player" xD

@wetrash5329 Fruitful in what way? I enjoy the game a lot. That all that matters. To me Aerith is a case of a person who don't trust her teammates to have faith in her. How. How is she even the best character in Rebirth! She basically cause Cloud Strife to go with her into an alternate timeline that’s about to die, just for a date. And than just right after she dies (Which for Rebirth is unclear)… where everyone is mourning, she suddenly shows up through, astral, lifestream, whatever, she’s just in Cloud’s head meaning only he could see him and not everyone, unless you’re Nanaki who or may not have sensed her presence-It’s really convoluted, as it is evil.
I’m sorry, but Aerith in Rebirth is just plain evil. In my opinion, she’s worse than her Remake version, which is ironic as this is a sequel to that game where she basically told the main character of this whole game series that he can’t be with her.
