I own 5 e-scooters, including the Kaabo Wolf King GT. For the love of God, make him wear gear! Pads, gloves, helmet! On a high power scooter like this it's not if you crash, it's when...it's only a matter of time. I crashed on a very similar scooter with 5,600 watts, was going 35mph; broke a rib, tore both shoulder rotator cuffs, and got road rash...and thats with gear on!!
your right but you could clearly see that he set the acceleration and top speed way lower so he could ride it. but yes, gear is really important and you could've worn it honestly
Yup, I've seen people fall while while running and wind up with serious injuries. Even at 5mph a fall from a bike can cause serious damage. I was riding my manual bicycle and had a pretty nasty crash. When it comes to safety speed doesn't matter when the unexpected happens. Dog runs out in front, weird bump or debris in the road all sorts of factors other than speed can cause you to loose control and potentially lead to serious injury head trauma.
LOL a kid on there wearing a shirt and shorts, NO preotective gear at ALL??? Bbbrrrrr Edit: And he doesn’t even have the proper rider stance to help with balance either, just two feet next together like most newbies tend to go.
I@@Matteyttor I personally wouldn't, I ve only driven very slow scooters, 25 Kph Max, and it feels like you are Fucking Mach 1, I can only Imagine 50 MPH, that's 80 Kph
I used to buy scooters like this and move at speeds of between 50-60KM/H. Until one day I rear-ended a car coming out of a driveway and went rolling over it like play dough. Luckily the scooter took most of the impact and not me, so all I did was injure my leg. After that, I downgraded to a Ninebot F30 which only goes 25KM/H max and still feels fast. I’m only 16 and yet all this experience had me finally be mature enough to realise that I didn’t need super scooters. Moral of the story; Be safe, don’t let little kids on super-scooters. You’re basically signing their death warrant by doing that.
Thats true. But i still want to get a fast elscooter. I tried a fast one today and i got up to 47km/h it was thrilling. You are going to be ok if you dont ride like a manic. Edit: spelling error
@@VidarNykvist That’s fine, as long as you know what you’re doing and you’re being safe on it. I recommend maybe going max speed in an open space with no objects or people in the way.
@@roadripper1 yeah i went 47 km/h in a big open area with no obstacles or people. The max speed on the scooter was 60 km/h but it hade less than half battery. It was really fun and it hade a very comfy seat. I do not own it, it was a friend's scooter
@@VidarNykvist Well, if you’re looking for a cheap scooter that goes 60KM/H in speed and lasts about 50KM’s, I recommend going for the AKEZ 11SQ. It’s only $800 compared to all the other scooters that are slower and cost more.
I broke teeth after eating shit going 80kmh on my laotie ti30. Got another one and guess what, I still go 80kmh and don’t wear a helmet or gloves. Man up bru
As a fellow electric scooter rider, while standing you have 0 chance of not busting your ass during a fall you will fly away. If anything is equally dangerous as a motorcycle , atleast in the motorcycle your low and can slide away. Wear a helmet with these things and always use steel tip boots. I fell and my foot got caught on the stepping platform(heaviest part of the scooter wer the battery is) and pure steel banged my toe thank god nothing further just a mild sprang. But couldve been worse.
