    Description:
Mass Effect Legendary Edition is a remastered compilation of the video games in the Mass Effect trilogy: Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3. It is being developed by BioWare with assistance from Abstraction Games and Blind Squirrel Games, and published by Electronic Arts. All three games were remastered, with visual enhancements, technical improvements, and gameplay adjustments. Mass Effect, the first game of the trilogy, has received more extensive upgrades than its counterparts, specifically with regard to combat mechanics, vehicle handling, and loading times.
Development on the Legendary Edition remasters commenced in 2019 under the direction of Mac Walters. Although BioWare initially considered other alternatives, they ultimately decided to approach the project as a remaster as opposed to a remake in order to preserve the original trilogy experience. The compilation was announced on November 7, 2020, and released on May 14, 2021 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
The compilation also includes almost all single-player downloadable content (DLC) that was originally released for each game, such as promotional weapons, armors, and packs. Set in the Milky Way galaxy within an alternate universe during the 22nd century, the trilogy consists of action role-playing games in which the player assumes the role of Commander Shepard, an elite human soldier who must unite the galactic community against an impending threat. Shepard is a customizable character whose morality is determined by the player, and during each game, the player makes choices that can impact the story in various ways. These choices and consequences can be carried forward through the trilogy.

Just warning you from the start here, that wasn't a QTE, that's what's called a Paragon Interruption. Both Paragon and Renegade interrupts exist and are basically a quick reaction on Shep's part, they'll show up as their respective symbols on either side of the screen. They usually give more points than the dialog options, what points depend on wether you took them or let them pass. Taking a Paragon Interrupt gives you Paragon points and skipping them gives you Renegade points and vice-versa. If one shows up and you want to take it, don't wait for the dialog to finish, they are called interrupts for a reason.

Health works a little differently in this game, you don’t need Medigel to restore health but you can use it to heal if someone’s low. (It also does the job of Unity)

The bypass minigame also works even if you don't see the symbols at all...
It's a circuitboard, so you can just follow the lines from one node and see which of the others it connects to! There are never more than 2 nodes active on the same line at a time. Once you get used to the minigame, you can basicly do it without having to check the symbols, and just have to see where one node starts, and you can basicly deduce which of the other nodes is the correct one just from that alone

The thing in the dialogue with Veetor is called a Paragon Interrupt. New, much hyped dialogue mechanic that lets you to do awesome shit. There are also Renegade Interrupts. Sometimes they also do awesome shit. The thing is, aside of this tutorial one, they're optional and interruptive. Go with your gut. You should go for them if you think it will be awesome. Up to you, really.
There was a bit of a blink-and-you-totally-missed-it thing. You can hit RS to see the direction to your objective.
Also, now that you've tasted it, you'll see the combat is now VERY much focused around Shield/[You'll See]/Armour/Health bars. Not only do the weapons work differently against each of those, but powers as well! It's more streamlined now. This was actually the underlying mechanic in ME1, but people didn't really get it that easily, so it got simplified.

A few points (some made by others, but this puts them all in one place).
    1) Always use ammo powers. No reason not to. A good habit to develop is to start each mission by cycling through your weapons and activate it- has to be done each weapon individually.
    2) You can't Charge anywhere you can't travel normally. This is to make sure you don't get stuck.
    3) Interrupts are basically free Paragon/Renegade points where Shepard 'interrupts' a cutscene to do something awesome/brutal/heartwarming. Some are only available for a few seconds, others for longer, but all time out. And, no, skipping a Renegade interrupt doesn't get you Paragon points, or vice-versa.
    4) Health regenerates rapidly when you aren't being shot, so medigel is just to power Unity.
    5) Martin Sheen voices the Illusive Man.
    6) Joker is a bit of a tool.

Unmapped squad D-Pad tells them to attack as they see fit, but you can map a specific squad power for if, say, you wanted a biotic to lift an enemy.
Oh, also you can still tell squad mates to move in combat. They’ll only attack with or without a mapped ability if you have an enemy targeted (little red box). Additionally if you have them targeted you can hit them with some abilities like incinerate and concussive shot around the cover. It homes in.

To answer some of the questions you asked throughout the video and to provide some tips
    1. Incendiary Ammo (and all ammo types in general from now and in the 3rd game) can be activated right at the start of a mission, and will last the entire mission. There is never a reason to not have an ammo power active.
    2. Biotic Charge will not activate if the target is in an unreachable area, like the Loki Mechs were at the start of the level.
    3. Resource (Element Zero, Iridium, Platinum and Palladium) are used for researching
Upgrades, the first example being the Heavy Weapons Ammo upgrade.
    4. Research Upgrades can be found in pretty much every area that is a mission. Things that have the ability to grant upgrades will be things you can scan (like the YMIR Mech at the end of the mission), guns, research terminals. I think there is one more type of object that can give them but I forget.
    5. In order to get the other powers, like Shockwave, Cryo Ammo and Pull, you need to spend 2 points in the ability that is directly above it. So for example, in order to get Shockwave, you need to get Biotic Charge to level 2.

Spectre status: This is very interesting to see you realize that. I don't think many people realize this until they're further into the game, but you caught on pretty quickly. Nice job :)
Bonuses: They give you bonuses, but they still want you to feel the game is challenging. Making you OP or rich from the very start isn't that fun as you can get everything you want. In that sense this is a nice balance to move you up ahead of schedule, yet don't feel like you have it all already.
... besides, being declared dead probably does something with your bank account ;)
Medi-gel: Medi-gel is now being used to power Unity (although in ME1 that used up Medi-gel as well, so that didn't change). They didn't want to bother you as much with the medi-gel for health issues, since when your shields are gone you get a lot of damage (or die) anyway. Also, because of your complaints about inventory management they decided to give people some Medical Exoskeletons as a standard or something so their health would recover over time. Therefore, no more need to equip mods in your armor.
Illusive Man: Recognize his voice actor? I think you might have heard of him: Martin Sheen, the father of Charlie Sheen ;)
Omega 4 Relay: You're right about the Rachni, but that was an _inactive_ Relay that they activated. The Omega 4 Relay is already activated, as the Collectors make use of it to go back and forth. "Unmapped" refers to: "We have no clue what's behind it, because all the scouts we've sent there never returned."
Mordin Solus: Recruiting him is actually a good start. While there are a couple of short side quests by talking to people on Omega, there are also a few longer ones there. Mordin's usually a good place to start as the others are bit more ... challenging. Getting your level up before going there is advisable. But hell, you're probably going to want to explore first, because it's one hell of a place with plenty of interesting characters.

To answer some of your questions from this video and the last:
    1. You have barrier. It's automatic now. If you look at your health bar, it'll be purple when you have barrier. It regens after not taking damage for a short ammount of time.
    2. You can position your squad mates in combat as well, just point at the ground instead of an enemy
    3. Incendiary Ammo doesn't have any downsides, IIRC, so there's no real reason not to just have it on at all times. It does less damage to certain types, but as far as i know, it never reduces your base damage, just the extra. You also don't need to bother binding it to a button, as you only activate it occasionally. (Sometimes it deactivates after cutscenes, but its pretty easy to tell when its on/off)
    4. First Aid is now automatic as well. You and your team will heal after not taking damage for a short amount of time. I believe this includes in-combat. Medi-gel is now only used for Unity.
    5. The Illusive Man is voiced by Martin Sheen
    6. The blue/red symbols that appear during conversations are Interruptions. If you activate one, you will interrupt the conversation is some way. Obviously, Blue is Paragon and Red is Renegade. As far as reaction time, you usually have about 2 seconds (i believe) to activate each one.

Having all those Quarians be slaughtered by a mech you demolished in 5 seconds makes me think that, lore wise at least, the world must run on Insanity difficulty.
Ammo powers should always be on.
Health is regenerative now, medi-gel is exclusively for reviving downed squadmates.
Left and right d-pad will move your squadmates, if you're hovering on an enemy it'll use the attack instead. I suggest getting at least somewhat familiar with it as this game is built a little more around squad usage, for instance, telling someone to hold down a corridor while you flank. My experience is with Insanity though so maybe it's less of a requirement for you.

The event Tali talked about (Cerberus infiltrating the flotilla etc.) is what one of the (I think there are four) Mass Effect books is about. They're a nice read but most of the events are explained in the game.
Also: Be sure to do all Paragon/Renegade actions (those quick-time-events). You don't lose Paragon points when you do the Renegade ones and vice versa. In the end it's your choice if it fits the moment and your playstyle, but some of the Renegade ones are hilarious.
From ME2 onwards, Renegade isn't exactly "being an asshole" anymore but rather "being blunt and efficient" (hope that makes sense, since English isn't my native language), most of the time.

10:40 over the few weeks (or may be months?) between the attack on Eden Prime to the Battle of the Citadel the price for an average shotgun skyrocketed from a few hundred credits to almost half a million, while their stats also increased dramatically. One might argue that Shepard didn't have access to higher tier weapons due to his level of experience, but why would opportunistic traders like, for example, Opold (smuggling hannar from Noveria) limit their profits like this? No, my version is that during the events of ME1 the galactic economy was in a severe overproduction crisis and hyperinflation. Over the 2 years of Shepard being dead the economy became severely regulated (no more uncontrollable arms races between manufacturers) and at some point the standard galactic credit was severely devaluated, and so now your pre-devaluation 10 million credits turned into 146,000.

Sadly your biotic barrier does not stack with any shield emitter protection that Shepard's armor "supposedly" is equipped with. Would have been cool with a multi-layer bar: Biotic Barrier-Shields-armor-health.
Later you can learn an extra bonus power by doing companion side quests. You then have the ability to use the special ability of that character.
Barrier is not as powerful as in ME1 though, it just boost your already present barrier up to a maximum of 100% (that is 2x the strength)for 1 min in ME2. Still useful though for survival purposes, But Reave is another power that is worth investigating, it is an offensive "damaging-staggering life drain" ability.
Also tech or biotic combinations can detonate each others so you can for example set of explosive combos with biotic attacks. For example: singularity can be detonated by warp, throw etc, it is even more developed with different combos in ME3 where a vanguard can have a lot of fun with Reave priming ans setting a vanguard up for a spectacular explosive biotic charge (restoring yor barrier, increasing damage output and sends the poor fools flying) and so on. Prazza's explanation of what Cerberus did to the Migrant Fleet is largely accurate: Cerberus commandos infiltrated the Idenna, a quarian ship, and tried to blow it up during an attempt to recapture Gillian Grayson, a 12 year old girl who they'd experimented on in order to turn her into a powerful biotic, so you can add child kidnapping and experimentation to their list of crimes.
I like most of Mass Effect 2 but the Cerberus stuff fucking sucks, they force you to work with this awful organisation and you can't ever bring up to anyone in it all the terrible things Cerberus has done, and while people who work for Cerberus talk vaguely about all the good Cerberus does, they never do so in any actual detail. Jacob's supposed to be the friendly face of Cerberus, but he can't even articulate why he joined besides some vagaries about the Alliance "not getting stuff done". What stuff? The Alliance seemed highly proactive in Mass Effect 1, just think of all the missions Admiral Hackett sent you on, it's a complete retcon to portray them as impotent and bureaucratic. The game is railroading you down this path incredibly hard and barely bothering to provide even fig-leaf excuses, and it never pays off, Cerberus is just stupid and evil the entire way through and it makes Shepard look stupid or evil for going along with it.

In fact you will learn more about them in better detail and stuff later, but you do still totally have the right to be suspicious lol. One thing you will find quickly is resources you collect actually go toward useful things, crew members will give you access to new upgrades along the story allowing you to upgrade the squad and the normandy.
And yeah, ammo powers like your incendiary rounds stay active until you change weapons (i think) or change to a different ammo type and you get that visual indicator is active so just pop up always so you deal that extra damage. It's a straight up tactical boost to your damage, i would get both though so you can handle all the health types in this game easily. For example up against the mech you could have made short work of it with your incendiary power.

I don't know if you have someone giving you trusted, non-spoiler insider tips, but in ME2 and 3 there are a couple of missions that people try to do at certain times, to make the experience better.
For instance, the mission/dlc for ME2 called Arrival. I believe you get the mission early, but everything makes MUCH more sense if you do it AFTER the last story mission.
There's 1 or 2 other things like that to watch out for!

I rlly don’t get the Cerberus hate...
Everyone thinks they are absolutely terrible (in game and irl) constantly bringing up their past actions, whilst conveniently ignoring how much they were willing to do to PROTECT HUMANITY despite the threat being ignored by everyone else

Ohhh its started who's the best yadda yadda so on and so on, having played ME2 first Tali was a fantastic character disappointingly under important in ME1 when I went back to it. To be fair though ME1 is a pale shadow compared to ME2 in terms of REALLY caring about the squad member characters. The Ashley/Kaiden dilemma was pretty much meh who cares. Edit Oh Oh The Illusive man voice - There's going to be Apocalypse now in the comments the final countdown has started, the Hotshots in the west wing might figure it out.
