Well, how did she get selected to the Olympic team? Shouldnt the Australian Olympic Council (whatever they are called) be called out to explain this national embarrassment?
I’ve heard this called “Princess Syndrome”, and it’s a good title for it from what I see. We see it with some Swifties as well… people that can only see themselves(or those they see themselves in) as a “hero” or a “victim”. She truly believes that she is “good”, because she decided to change the standard to be what she wants it to be(one that favors her), instead of adhering to the existing standard. But then if you don’t like it, “you must be a misogynist!” (This then fuels the social movements to further support her) This mentality is scary and it comes from having an abundance of privileged opportunity, but with no accountability or expectations. We can’t sit a tell young girls that they can “do or be anything they want”, but at the same time, have no expectations for how they then participate. (In fact, this is called “prejudice of lowered expectations”) She has subsided in delusion, and only surrounds herself with those whom will validate her delusions(and it’s mind blowing how many will)… and then they all protect her from ever having to face reality. It’s really pretty scary actually, even for her sake! Especially when people like this gain a place of “power”, and then gatekeep opportunity with and for their own delusions…
What’s ludicrous is that she’s defending herself and others are coming to her aid. The three judges gave her zero each so that’s the end of discussion in my mind. She’s not brave, she’s crap…
Well you know the old story, what happens at the Olympics is one thing. But what happens after, we'll just have to wait & see. I have feeling an apology will be on offer. From the massive backlash.
You have to admit, it takes a certain form of character, though, to survive this. I mean : I would have died of shame on the spot (I wouldn't have let anyone put me in that spot in the first place). Honestly if she was actually trying to make a mockery of it I support it break dancing shouldn't be there

But then if you don’t like it, “you must be a misogynist!” (This then fuels the social movements to further support her)
This mentality is scary and it comes from having an abundance of privileged opportunity, but with no accountability or expectations. We can’t sit a tell young girls that they can “do or be anything they want”, but at the same time, have no expectations for how they then participate. (In fact, this is called “prejudice of lowered expectations”)
She has subsided in delusion, and only surrounds herself with those whom will validate her delusions(and it’s mind blowing how many will)… and then they all protect her from ever having to face reality. Yo be needin’ a zanxy. Game over yo! Lol! The vengeance peeps have these days and not understanding the fragility of man. Even winners lose, and losers have to keep believing they’ll win. But for those who understand this dichotomy…it’s just a game.
this isn’t about just winning and losing yk the olympics is like.. huge right? it’s about how she disrespected and completely embarrassed Australia and genuinely did not know what she was doing, it absolutely needs to be investigated why she was even up to compete. people are pressed because she stole the position from someone probably much more deserving
Oh cry about it. No bigger issues in the world.
@samtallen-5992 cuz Australia wasn't already made fun of eh mate? Gday
And also investigate the African archery guy who scored lowest point ever because he tried his best? Lol
The misogyny angle doesn’t hold any water, she competed against women and is being criticized against women
Then how come Eddie the Eagle was celebrated for doing essentially the same thing? Qualifying due to lack of competitors from his country and sucking in his chosen sport.
@@fosterfuchs there are plenty of actually talented B-girls who could've gone who would've taken it seriously and done a good job. This wasn't a case of there being no one else to send.
She’s mad she lost and knows pulling the misogyny card is the only thing that’ll get her any attention and have people backing her up, it’s pathetic.
@@josequins9099 I have no doubt that there are more talented women in Australia. But they did not try out. My point stands. She was the only one in her country who showed up and qualified. Unless she got a higher score than more talented dancers in a national competition, or unless the more talented dancers were kept from trying out, she won fair and square.
@@keonbellis8070 She said “I was never going to beat these girls on what they do best-their power moves.....All of my moves are original. Creativity is really important to me. I go out there, and I show my artistry. Sometimes it speaks to the judges, and sometimes it doesn't." Doesn't sound like she was complaining.
Stop. Praising. And. Normalizing. Mediocrity.
Mediocrity is normal by definition.
That wasn't mediocrity.....
@@specterRavenyup below mediocrity
@@drksideofthewal No, it's not.

Take the first four letters of the word, “medi.” As in, “medium.” You don’t even need a dictionary, just use your eyes.
Who invites this woman to represents Australia?
OMG...
What a shame...
Australia
The whole Olympic event was an embarrassment.
Yep. Russia was banned, for political reasons, so the results are about as meaningful as the results of a Rugby World Cup if New Zealand were banned....
@@TomasFunes-rt8rdlmao you’re acting like russia is the epicenter of breakdancing ….it was created in the US fam
@@liamu1017 Oh will you read my comment WELL this time ?? I'm talking about THE ENTIRE OLYMPICS, not breakdancing !!! EVERY sport !! Results are worthless because Russian athletes would have harvested gold in sheaves, as they always do ! Over time, results of this Olympiad will be no more cherished than Moscow 1980 or LA 1984, the boycotted Games.
@@TomasFunes-rt8rd groundbreaking news for you fam: Russia is not the center of the universe, and nobody cared that Russia was left out. In fact, many of us forgot that Russia existed during the games.
I thought it was a fun competition in an increasingly lame world.
