Yeah I disagree, when I was a kid we had one like just like it. The walls sweat from the humidity from the A/c. Used to wake up wet and miserable at the racetracks.

As usual Ben and Cole… sitting here enjoying the content with a gang (6) of My Grandkids. You got it right… Grandkids, three boys and three girls. Some of the younger ones are wanting to get started as well. Two of the boys are already using baitcasters and developing their own skills. I learned at a young age how to fish using a tin can with a wooden handle that My Dad made for me and then finally graduated to a thirteen foot cane pole and by the time I was eleven, I was using a Mitchell Garcia 300 and cranking them lunkers in. Anyway it’s time to get the next generation prepared to experience what I did. Fishing was the best thing that ever happened to me.

I'm glad you showed that magnified view because last time I went out on the water I noticed those same marks on my graphs and I thought they were just rocks on bottom but now I know to make the cast because they're probably fish 😁👍

The heat has been brutal. The lakes here in Central TX where I live are bothe about 6 feet below normal water levels.
Where are you? Waco was BRUTAL last year. I miss Lake Sam Rayburn. It’s such a great lake.

Ben my friend just got home from Rayburn,him and the wife spent 10 days down there and the 2nd day he caught a dandy,it was 9 5lbs,just missing that share lunker deal,but a heck of a Bass,he was very happy.Caught it back in a cove that had a creek and was throwing a chatterbait,and it was around 7 a.m.,and he mentioned there were several smaller sized bluegills up around the banks.hope that helps.

Did you find a hinkle shad yet? I have 2 of them brand new I just got. One is a shad pattern with orangish fins and the other is a perch pattern both painted by Phil at Get Bit Custom Baits.
Is 15’ deep for Rayburn? I’ve been getting worked over by the bass in north Texas the last 3 weeks. I’ve been fishing main lake points like this about the same depth but can’t connect. I don’t have/know how to use my electronics well like you though. I’ve tried once in the evening but still nada. Thinking about night fishing this weekend 🤔
