- eBay can be a great source for preowned Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry, but without the right knowledge it can be a difficult to buy an authentic item for a great price. In this video I share tips I have learned over the years that will help you find authentic pieces and achieve significant savings as well.

@@MalkaLux Just discovered that the item I purchased is fake :( it's sooo top quality fake that it was so difficult at first to tell. It had the stamps in all the right places, but upon more careful inspection and comparison to real bracelet, I noticed subtle things like the circular link which attaches the chains to the motif was oval instead of perfectly round. The serial number printed on the plate was not aligned perfectly in the middle. Worth also mentioning that it did not come with certificate, the seller said they misplaced it.

The Japanese power seller market on eBay is where I purchase vintage designer things when it comes to eBay. Their counterfeit laws are some of the strictest in the world. eBay also stands behind anti counterfeit laws and if I suspected something was fake before doing my research and I already purchased it, they will grant a return regardless if a seller says no returns.
Absolutely, the Japanese sellers on eBay also have the widest selection of hard to find designer items as well. They ship super fast too.

I purchased a Cartier Santos watch from a reputable EBay jewelry store. It’s authentic, for $2400. I love the Alhambra. Sadly, I only have replicas. But from your video, it’s apparent my replicas aren’t that good! The one you are wearing is my favorite 😍

Alhambra is my favorite line that VCA has and I would say it is worth saving up for. I wear my VCA Alhambra pieces every day and after all these years I have never tired of them. 😍

Is there any third party site that authenticates VCA items?
@@doctrader7555 RealAuthentication.com does claim to authenticate VCA, but their reputation is spotty, and I have never used them - so I cannot recommend.
