- This video from the 2013 GKR World Cup features Rebecca Zammit's kata in the Final. She performs the kata Seisan, which saw her take out the Gold Medal.
She is good, her style looks like Goju Ryu.
What style is that ?
Its good to see a TINY bit of hip movement BUT you need some more. I do study martial arts and have earnt a 2nd dan black belt in karate and a black belt in BJJ.

There aren't all that many moves in this kata where a huge amount of hip movement is needed. There are plenty of stances that require a very stable base, and locking the hips is part of that. Her kicks were lethal, and you need plenty of power for that.
I mean what do you think you're doing..."It's good to see some hip movement but it's still not good enough" - Like you know better about this kata, from this style, than a world champion. Just because you have a black belt in some other style? Pure arrogance.
I know this was from 2 years ago... But still.
