Crazy how dude went from going to the mall in Chicago and telling people and promoting his first album and it seemed like ppl took him as a joke. There he is at the Grammys with the badass ending line and now till this day in 2022… dude is in his mid 40’s and he’s still killing this rap game🔥🔥
Dude his first album was a hit. Between 2004 to 2007 he already achieved legendary status. Not to mention he was already Jay-z s producer.
Dudes first album won a Grammy. No wonder this dude is a legend.

Lol you bunch of cry-babies... Me too though...
Umm, ya'll might as well get the music ready cause this is gonna take a while. Umm, when I had my accident, I found out at that moment nothing in life is promised except death. If you had the opportunity to play this game of life, you need to appreciate every moment. A lot of people don't appreciate their moment until its passed. And then you gotta tell them Al Bundy stories, "you remember when I..." but umm. Right now, is my time and my moment, thanks to the fans, thanks to the accident, thanks to God, thanks to Roc-A-Fella, Jay Z, Dame Dash, G, my mother, Rhymefest, everyone that has helped me and I plan to celebrate. I plan to celebrate and scream and pop champaign every chance I get cause I'm at the Grammys baby! I know... I know everybody ask me that question, they want to know, "what Kanye is gonna wild out, he's gonna do something crazy." Everybody want to know what I would do if I didn't win... I guess we'll never know.

@@stellar1252 Is he even 44🤔🤔
Greatest speech of all time, hands down in my opinion. The ending is just so unbelievably badass.
How did he already have a reputation of wilding out if this was his first album?
Kanye was a producer long before he was a rapper. The story behind the last line is: the year before he was nominated for best new artist, he'd released a few singles. He ended up getting second place, storming out the venue and complaining to paparazzi that he should've won...
Mitchell Lewsey I know he was a producer, but thanks for clarifying the last part
Bilbo Baggins This just proves that there was never an “old Kanye”. Kanye been the same eratic, energic powerhouse of a person since the start of his career. It’s such a gross misconception that he “changed” after his mother’s death.
@@thabongnkosi Jay Z will tell you and just looking at old footage shows Kanye been Kanye the whole time.
@@thabongnkosi you know this speech was before his mom died right?
Imagine doing this on your debut album
the best and most badass speech ive ever seen. ive analyzed it like 20 times. if you watch the full thing you see him start his speech of kind of shy, realizing how big of an honor it is and hes scared, but as the speech progresses he slowly starts to gain more confidence and it reaches a peak when he says “im at the grammys baby”. he finally realized that hes made it and is able to stand in front of the academy and this audience with an award in hand and applause going throughout the building. finally he delivers the final blow and the perfect ending with “ i guess we’ll never know”
The way he kept his head up after he finished
Just watched the 2nd jeen yuhs episode🔥🔥🔥
Kanye West for President

How it aged indeed
Wait wtffff
Omagah
Bruh 😂
To think that Kanye went back-to-back at the Grammys for the same award with 2005/2006, and then won it AGAIN in 2008 after a gap year. Kanye West was creating his own dynasty in hiphop. He so deserved those Rap AOTY Grammys and has solidified his place in hip hop history. 🏆
Should've won album of the year for Graduation
till this day. “ i guess we’ll never know” is the hardest ending to a speech i’ve heard.

i watched it like a thousand times and i still have goosebumps all over my body on the phrase "i guess we never know"
