its crazy, you can see around 1:22 he transitions from being nervous to being confident. in just a few seconds he goes from kinda awkward and reserved to energetic and the whole crowd lights up, its like he got his bearings and is now really feelin it
Good observation, even crazier though, at 1:22 is when he mentions his mother. If you watched “Jeen-yuhs” or know what his mom meant to him, then you know she was the source of his confidence.
Same here. That documentary touched me so deeply im going for a license that will be a stepping stone but I been afraid of failing so it stops me in my tracks everytime. Almost done thank you Kanye and Ms. Donda🥺🤝🏾
@@swasthi679 I'm pretty sure it's "The Tragic Fall of Kanye West" by FC Signifier. Both parts come to about 2 hours in length and it's a really meditative deep dive into Kanye and hip hop culture before he came onto the scene.
Umm, ya'll might as well get the music ready cause this is gonna take a while. Umm, when I had my accident, I found out at that moment nothing in life is promised except death. If you had the opportunity to play this game of life, you need to appreciate every moment. A lot of people don't appreciate their moment until its passed. And then you gotta tell them Al Bundy stories, "you remember when I..." but umm. Right now, is my time and my moment, thanks to the fans, thanks to the accident, thanks to God, thanks to Roc-A-Fella, Jay Z, Dame Dash, G, my mother, Rhymefest, everyone that has helped me and I plan to celebrate. I plan to celebrate and scream and pop champaign every chance I get cause I'm at the Grammys baby! I know... I know everybody ask me that question, they want to know, "what Kanye is gonna wild out, he's gonna do something crazy." Everybody want to know what I would do if I didn't win... I guess we'll never know.
Crazy how dude went from going to the mall in Chicago and telling people and promoting his first album and it seemed like ppl took him as a joke. There he is at the Grammys with the badass ending line and now till this day in 2022… dude is in his mid 40’s and he’s still killing this rap game🔥🔥
Here after watching ep 2 of Jeen-Yuhs watching this man grind hard and see his work pay off has me hella motivated to chase my own dreams. Man is going through shit and don’t got a solid person to fall on but himself at the end of the day. Love you Ye’ thank you for getting out your dreams!
I still have my College Dropout CD that was given by my parents as a Christmas gift back in 2004! Listening to all of Kanye's tracks made me admire his rap and his musicality! You can tell dude is really destined for greatness!
im back after episode 2 of kanyes trilogy. The trilogy is very inspiring and so is this speech I hope that one day ill be in the position to give a speech this LEGENDARY
the best and most badass speech ive ever seen. ive analyzed it like 20 times. if you watch the full thing you see him start his speech of kind of shy, realizing how big of an honor it is and hes scared, but as the speech progresses he slowly starts to gain more confidence and it reaches a peak when he says “im at the grammys baby”. he finally realized that hes made it and is able to stand in front of the academy and this audience with an award in hand and applause going throughout the building. finally he delivers the final blow and the perfect ending with “ i guess we’ll never know”
Literally so inspiring. I get goosebumps every time I see this. I do the best that I can at everything to this day so I’ll never find out what happens if I dont
Fucking goosebumps. I'm not the biggest Kanye fan by any means but i fw his stuff. The way this speech feels and the way he projected it is so incredibly powerfuI I can't even describe It. He had the entire world's eyes on him at that moment. And he took that Moment. Unbelievable.
I've seen this multiple times but I always used to ignore the first part of his speech because of how grand and dramatic the last part of it is. I now realize the importance of each word he said and the first part has motivated me now.
Kanye was a producer long before he was a rapper. The story behind the last line is: the year before he was nominated for best new artist, he'd released a few singles. He ended up getting second place, storming out the venue and complaining to paparazzi that he should've won...
Bilbo Baggins This just proves that there was never an “old Kanye”. Kanye been the same eratic, energic powerhouse of a person since the start of his career. It’s such a gross misconception that he “changed” after his mother’s death.
