@@rogdedodge7258 Avoid overpriced (although well engineered) products from Patriot Campers. Look for American alternatives.

John, thanks for the review. Awesome. Superficial question but is your trailer's color the "Hammer Grey" or one of the other greys? I am close to pulling the trigger on a TB expedition. Also, did you ask for no Topo prints on your trailer or was that not a standard option for your build? Thanks for any info. I joined "The Prepared" via this review.

Great video but how much water you need depends entirely on the environment you are in and not not it is

You can keep blankets/sleeping bags and pillows and things inside that tent while it's closed, right? Is there a limit? Like maybe you should use slimmer pillows or something?

I have often told those who are interested in SHTF and bugout situations to look to the overland community. I see so many "rough and ready" preppers and want-to-be commandos use objects not intended for X or Y to DO X or Y. They like to take pride in being able to "survive" with minimal things and outright crap. There is no need for this. The overland community has worked out all the bugs of off grid survival. Just get the items in subdued colors. Problem solved.

Anyone can do it tough. It's 2021 you can live a step outside of Civilisation with the technology of Civilisation.

For me as a realist a trailer never made any sense as a survival option in bugout situations.
    1. I mean look at it, everything you own is on display to the people who are in need of those things. Plus it's so easy for any basic mob to just rob you.
    2. In most survival situations, one would want themselves to keep safe and in seclusion. Also, they would want to be efficient and quick yet must have all the needs for basic survival. Now look at the trailer again and tell me do you see any of those in here ? You open up the whole trailer just to cook a packet of noodles. You have to setup and collapse the whole tent in order to just sleep in fear. Do you really think you can survive a harsh winter anfor long run in those plastic tarps with your children ?
    3. Towing behind - anyone who has ever towed a trailer knows how difficult it is to tow and reverse a trailer especially when your stuck 🤣 do you think you could do such a feat when most overlanders needs help themselves ? So the zombies/enemies are to just wait till to clear your trailer and start running again ?
Trailers are the worst option one can take as a prepper. The best option if you wanna go deep in the woods, would be a truck camper with hard pop up. Or a van conversion designed around full off grid use. Sure than if you want you can use a very light trailer towed behind your vehicle that can be used to carry stuff but also discard in case of emergency like extra firewood etc.
