Weird how I've never heard about the egg thing.
Yeah that's why they ask you if you're allergic to anything, especially eggs, before taking a vaccine shot.
@@Anon-te2bz The latest recommendations are that you can get a flu shot even if you're allergic to eggs. The amount of egg antigen in the vaccine is so low that the chance of an anaphylactic reaction is 1.35 in one million. If you're allergic to eggs, you should get the vaccine in a clinic that is capable of managing anaphylaxis, in case you're the one in a million. Here's a good link: www.verywellhealth.com/flu-shot-with-egg-allergy-4126732
You're not alone man
When I was in a mass Swine Flu vaccine, half a lifetime ago, I was asked if I was allergic to horse.
I'm not allergic to eggs, but I am allergic to foreign proteins injected into my blood!
I think we need a series of these videos because there’s a lot of other novel technologies that need explanations, ie protein folding, Inovio’s DNA vaccine, N95 masks vs other masks, etc.
Also, Moderna’s development timeline sounds quite similar to Inovio’s. In fact, Inovio was also working on a MERS vaccine before COVID-19 came out.
yes i would love to learn about protein folding! this video was very informative
There are in fact at least 5 company's working on RNA vaccines for wuhan-covid19.
The problem is that the elite plan is to create panic and fear so the people ask for the vaccine ! But can we trust them !? How do we know that the vaccine will not help to "reduce" the population (genocide) ?!
@@mircea293 One thing is for sure, we are in uncharted territory. Vaccines are already considered a newer form of technology, but to make a vaccine with the span of one-year is unheard of. Worst case, RNA vaccines might fall short since it's experimental and newer compared to the egg incubated vaccines mentioned in the video.
As far as where politics fall into this, save that discussion for another video or website.
And donald trump team need to see this and also receive a reality shot.

Gotta say, looking back, it really is fascinating just how break neck the pace of "to mass production" the mRNA vaccines were. Exactly 1 year after the virus being sequenced, we had just started shipping out the first batches of human ready vaccines. Pretty remarkable, honestly
Remarkable how many known side effects there were that were hidden, and how the FDA and Pfizer tried to get that information sealed for 75 years. If you haven't looked into those court ordered data dumps you should. Especially if you want a booster.

Hey Real Science, just a suggestion for a future video:
(Even if the pandemic is still at large) SpaceX plans to bring people to Mars soon, but colonizing Mars might require an artificial magnetosphere at one of its Lagrange points due to Mars' lack of a magnetic field.

@mathIsART find a psychologist.
Hello from the future. We may have found a vaccine similar to Moderna.
Do researchers have any idea what causes disease enhancement?
In some diseases, enhancement is also present in the natural form of the disease, where you're basically fine the first time you're infected, but the second time - where you're body should clear the virus more effectively - the symptoms are far, far worse, to the point of being lethal.
That can happen if the virus is able to attack the immune cells that should break it down. In a first infection, the viral particles are taken up by these cells in a moderate fashion, which is why it takes a while to clear all of it. However in the second infection, since you're immune system already knows the virus, the antibodies and adapted cells will take up the virus far more quickly, which allows it to undermine the cellular protection and rapidly reproduce inside the cells trying to kill it. That then leads to more dead cells and - probably - cytokine storms, which cause severe inflamation. Basically, if you can't use snipers to kill the target, use a nuke and clear the debris later.
So, in a way, you have to be careful that a vaccine doesn't clear a path to that. However, I am only aware of a single human virus which is capable ot that, Dengue fever. There, the vaccine leads to immunization against one serotype, but not the other four, which means if you're infected by them, they'll replicate in your macrophages, which have taken up the virus-antibody-complexes.
The dengue vaccine released in the Philippines killed children vaccinated with them by making things worse.

Incredible to look back and see how scientists estimated 18 months minimum for a vaccine. Now, we've been vaccinating since late December 2020. We got the first approved vaccines in Europe and the U.S twice as fast as the most optimistic estimations.
Looking back you realize that it is a lie because the jabs do not stop you from getting the virus and it does not stop you from spreading the virus to others even when you have been vaxxed.. They lied then and continue to lie today to the American people. i believe in true vaccines I do not believe in this experiment that is not working.

Hi, I'm not sure if you'll see my comment but I have my degree in biomedical science and the way in which this was described/explained is quite broad and allows for some misinterpretations. The broad and simplified explanation of t-cells and b-cells aswell as the lack of expanding on the use of mRNA allows for some possible confusion. regarding the mRNA I'm assuming your describing presentation of the RNA to dendritic cells rather than intergration of the mRNA, circumventing the normal immune response pathway. I understand this is just a general overlook on immunity and vaccines but I thought you'd appreciate feedback on wanting a bit more of an in-depth video.
I'm a general microbio student and I feel like you could explain me how they making mass RNA copies at first place for vaccine..
@@erdenemashbat3379 Hi, (late reply) i havent seen any publications on how they are producing these RNA copies but if i were personaly producing RNA Vaccines on a large scale for cost effectivness and production rate id probably use a bioreactor linked up to some sort of protein purification system (i work in R&D but not vaccine related). I have only looked at vaccine production through rsearch and College/University education so my knowledge on the subject will be limited as when you enter the industry youll gain a real appreciation and intrest around the science of Process prodution and scale up aswell as how much more there is to learn and develop.
The RNA vaccine talked about at 6:00 and after is reminiscent of a scene in “From Russia with Love” as a live target is strangled by a SPECTRE agent carrying a James Bond mask.

Hmmm..... RNA detriorates faster than DNA as it is single-stranded. Not sure of their half-life in the bodily fluid. Just wondering if they encapsulates it within liposomes or polymersomes to effectively cargo it inside the celss since Cells can send microRNA, mRNA to other cells through extracellular vesicles (EV), exosomes. 🤔 This could increase its shelf life as well.

How can you tell if a vaccine is effective if most people have a strong enough immune system to recover from the virrus anyway, wouldn't it be faster to obtain genetic information from people who have recovered, I might be wrong in assuming there is a way to transfer experience in the immune system from one person to another.
You could, and it's been done. I believe it's technically called passive immunization via transferal of antibodies in convalescent plasma. Blood transfusion from those who have defeated the infection, in other words. Since covid's only been around 5 or 6 months, though, there's a lot of questions about how safe it is, how long this lasts (passive immunity has a tendency to be short lived), how effective it is... but I imagine it would help critical cases of covid.

Young people aren’t statistically phased by the virus, regardless, and yes, someone close to us, vaccinated, died… age 70…
We also know 3 vaccinated people who’ve had strokes shortly after, and one healthy mountain biker age 35 with myocarditis and encephalitis… that said, I don’t know any non vaccinated people who’ve died of Corona, or suffered strokes, myocarditis, encephalitis, etc.
Just live a healthy lifestyle, eat well, avoid drugs, you’ll be fine.
@@piecesoftheheart9231 Maybe something is wrong with your country, idk. Guidelines for mine:
No exercise for two weeks after every shot
If you get symptoms and test negative, it’s not COVID, it’s the vaccine
If you feel uncomfortable or sick during any physical activity even after two weeks, rest
If you have any chronic heart disease or terminal illness, you may be excused from taking the vaccine, although you may want to consult a doctor if you wish to take the vaccine.
Vaccines don’t prevent you from getting infected, they just decrease the chance of severe infection and death. Majority of people who have died from COVID-19 were unvaccinated, although you may not believe this because you think they manipulated the numbers. To avoid getting a serious infection, keep your immune system strong. No amount of “healthy lifestyle, avoid drugs, eat well” is going to cure disease-caused immune deficiency, so in that case just full isolate.
Not to mention the myocarditis, numerological damage, and a huge spike in miscarriages.

What is the action of acyclovir on Corona virus
If this happens I’m gonna be grateful and pick biology as my path for science in the future
I wish you all the best dude! The world need more dedicated and sincere people like you in the world of science
Scientists rock!
medical world is slow, we still can’t cure cancer.
We can and do cure cancer. However Big Pharma makes way too much money off cancer and causing it and then giving out their fake cures (for trillions of dollars) that damage more than help that they won't let (Congress who has them in their back pocket have) any effective treatments on the markets for the public. It would ruin one of their main profitting schemes (along with their main ways of causing it).
The medical world was corrupted when the American Medical Association(funded by pharma) took over medical education.
Wrong do your homework: here are some cures 1. Black cumin seed oil 2. Canelim capsules 3. Moringa and proper diet find out your blood type and eat for your blood and take prebiotics and probiotics repopulate your gut bacteria this is real health medicine. Canelim kills cancer cells not healthy cells. Black cumin seed oil cures everything except death. Do your homework please canelim is used at Sloan Kettering in manhattan. Or use it alone canelim capsules really work.
They dont have a plan to cure it, they actually created it
dawn zeraus They didn’t create it? They create it themself when DNA Doesn’t want to work togheter, they change into cancer cell then the cancer cell infects other cells normally Immune system kills it fast but when it doesn’t you get simply cancer.
Yes, let's not talk about the possibility of screwing with your immune system leading to cancer or autoimmune disease. Yay I'm immune to Covid19 and now all I need is something to help me with this Lupus...
Awesome video!!! This makes me want to get into the medical field!!! But I'm on the hubby's side, Engineering 🤣
“18 months” *pft* try 12
Taking those biology classes really helping me understand stuff for once. This whole process makes me hopeful, excited, and proud to see how far we've come in the scientific field. If you honestly still think the measures they're taking aren't impressive, I honestly don't know what to tell you.
I think it was China first published the gen sequences back in early Jan.
Well done.
