This is by far the best review I’ve watched to date! So thorough but practical, but also done with the perspective of the Bronco sport for what it is. People forget there was a small Bronco II available back in the day on the ranger platform. As a single mom who commutes but wants to hit the hockey arena, mountains or snow but also have good fuel economy and spend under $45,000 CAN- this is the vehicle for me!! (Outer Banks)Well done and brilliant marketing by Ford. Appreciate it!
I have seen ford reliability tester bringing this car in impossible off road rocks that i thought was impossible to do. But the bronco did it. This car is incredible. It is a really great car. I hope it will bring up ford in the charts.
First review I ever see the bottom view of a car and kuddos on showing that rear seat secret cargo space. Also, thank you for showing it with your family. During weekends we’ll be four as well.
I love the full size Bronco but man they did a great job with styling on the Bronco Sport Badlands it looks so much more appealing!! Love that front end, it reminds me of a R.R. Defender or the old Nissan Pro 4X Xterra.
I can relate to your comment about this making a good family vehicle. I could see taking a vehicle like this on trips to the mountains or camping. I think this vehicle is going to be a real challenge to the compact SUVs from Jeep like the Compass and Cherokee. In my view, this Bronco is actually more Jeep-esque than they are.
Great review! I have been looking for a new compact SUV for work and life. Work has me do a lot of off-roading in remote locations, so this looked good. I appreciate that your review, unlike several others I have watched, actually included information on the accessories inside the vehicle. I had no idea it had a shelf/table option for the back and a storage compartment in the seat, both things that would be helpful with work. Thanks!!
The Bronco Sport has the sufficient off road capabilities for 99% of the population. Everyone that says that it’s not good, that you need the real Bronco has no idea what they are talking about. The Bronco Sport has a much better ride quality and is a lot more practical for everyday use. Unless you’re a hardcore off roader, no one needs the “real” Bronco. The Bronco Sport is actually a great car. If you are still looking for a a compact SUV, I’d suggest you look at the Toyota RAV4. I have one it’s amazing, and in the long run it will be more reliable than the Ford.
Got the wife a Badlands area 51 loaded. Love it so far drives and rides good and got 30.5 MPG on a 215 mile trip. Nice to have something that gets over 19.5 mpg. Wish the seats had 10 way like my front tilted a bit.
@@firstnamelastname9661 no one bit put over 5,000 miles. That problem was some reporters playing in the sand and the clutch got hot Ford probably changed the software abit. Plus they had it in the wrong mode.
I was told by Ford that the badlands edition is not compatible with the stand up mountain bike option because the rear seat does not fold up because of that little storage space. This is part of the reason i wanted a sport and badlands edition. If you want a badlands edition and mountain bike, expect to keep the bike outside on a rack or roof.
With all the Chevy trucks having transmission issues I’m going to lean toward Ford for future reference. It’s a brand new vehicle in a 50 plus year market. Let’s be honest gas is crazy I’m seeing a lot of Range Rover inspiration. It’s a good design nothing lacks here. Literally let the wife know that it’s not worth getting anything else other then the bronco for her needs. It’s super slick for a gen 2
Very good job Ford. The only thing i would have added is retractable seat at the rear to have more legroom if we use it in city for 4 adults. We don’t need the full cargo everytime, so having a way to gain more legroom at the rear, would have made this car really perfect
Ford has a new edition of their infotainment system, the Sync 4 which is supposedly a great improvement over the Sync 3, and can get over the air updates. Why they would not put the newest version of that system in a *brand new vehicle* that is making it's debut on the world stage is baffling.
As the very happy owner of a 2010 2-door JK that's staying with me until the wheels fall off, and as someone who's looking to replace said JK as my daily driver, I'm seriously considering the Bronco Sport Badlands as my next purchase. I kind of wish they offered the Badlands trim on the Maverick. How cool would the Maverick be with a 1-inch lift, skidplates, GOAT modes and the Bronco Sport's rear diff?
They fit fine. Not loads of room but they didn’t complain which is the most important thing. I guarantee you that if it was too tight, I would have heard. 😆
Been trying to find a sport badlands for weeks, no luck. Decided to include a 4x4 ranger super crew cab in my search… still looking. Dealerships are selling hopes instead of cars right now… it’s bad.
Yea I really wanted that cargo shelf. They stuck us with buying a cargo rack. They did throw in a yeti soft cooler. The rack that came with the vehicle was $1,543.00.😳
@@patmason7276 its funny because thats always been my rule as well. But as I was on a bit of a decision making time crunch, I decided to make the jump and break my rule. Men who have a complex and need to compensate for something always make this type of comment. Definitely not inferior to a vehicle that will eat a ton more gas and that most people will never take off road, or take the doors or roof off of. For most people its superior and it’s definitely superior when people can get a BS fully loaded instead of the people that can’t afford or barely afford the Bronco and get it base.
