I think yes it needs a new crank, rod and probably bearings and such. Lovely bike u have there. Good luck getting it back up and rinning, would love to see an update when u do🤙

Probably threw a rod bearing on the big end.
Best thing to do is order a rebuild package, doesn't look like you necessarily need the piston and cylinder but you'll need the crankshaft, seals, bearings (which you can get in a package deal along with all the gaskets) but also when you change the crankshaft you will need to re-shim the clutch (it's attached to the old crank and shimmed for the old crank). The new crank will not work with the old shims, and you have to get an entire set of shims for this job, plus there are two sets of shims that you need, the inner shims and the outer shims. Also you will need a set of feeler gauges and if you really want to get particular, then have a micrometer handy so you can measure the shims that you are going to install.
After that you might possibly need to re-jet the main jet in the carburetor, to match the new crankshaft and bearings.
    Good luck with it.
    Thanks for the content.
    Keep up the good work.
