Can we get an episode dedicated to some of the rich wonderful malts out there? I'm a little tired of hearing only about hops hops hops, you would think that was all that was in the beer.

Hop bines take a couple years to become established. The first year mine only produced a few ounces of hops. This year I have pounds of them.

Northern brewer sells hop rhisomes, which are basically a root that you plant and will grow into a vine, yielding hops. But, don't forget, they may not yield too much the first year. They're an annual so they'll come back stronger every year. (BTW...they're only $5/rhisome)

Sister moved into a house with established hops. Do you know if there is a way to identify easily.
