I thought about doing this when I visited Goblin Valley in February, but I changed my mind about camping overnight and headed back to Salt Lake. It's on my list of things to do, though. I'm only good for 8 to 10 miles of hiking in a day, but I'm working on building a little more stamina. As a recent transplant, I am amazed at all there is to do out here.
There's a bunch of really awesome slots in between Hanksville and Blanding off of Utah SR 95... Especially just north of Hite Crossing... I haven't done it yet but I've heard amazing things about Buckskin Gulch outside of Vermillion Cliffs... it's the same trailhead as The Wave

Looks like a fun hike! For anyone curious like me the trailhead is about a 2 hour drive from Moab
Great review, I appreciate the discussion of dog accessibility. Thanks
All videos and posts on the websites discuss doggos if you are ever curious 👍🏽
Try Buckskin Gulch outside of Kanab, one of my favorites.

Aw man, thanks for posting this! Brings back memories of camping out with friends during college. Those scrambles and drops were super fun
So good to know these can be done mid-winter. Having just moved to the Western Slope, I’m clueless on where to hike for the next 4+ months.
Head to Utah my friend - endless hiking and the perfect time of year to visit.
What go pro selfie stick do you use ?
Alaska Life Thrillpro - its a beast
Oh wow I might be too fat for that.
