- Valentine´s Day is today, 14th Feb 2021, and I have spent a week away from the garden to make a surprise for my partner Heather!! Doing stuff for LOVE. That´s the way to go. Life is fun when you can do things for others. She had no idea I was building a Sweaty Bamboo Tee Pee for her until yesterday.
I love making my videos. I enjoy it a lot. The response and support...and the LOVE... from everyone who has shared their comments is overwhelming. If you are an artist, which I kinda am I guess, then positive response and support are the only things you need to succeed. Thanks for giving me that.

I can't even imagine the amount of time and effort you put into this whole video, walking up and down the hill with all the equipment to build a beautiful Valentine's tee pee for your lady and thanks for making UA-cam videos for us all to enjoy.
I think it was only actually about 38 times up and down. Legs and butt are in top form :-)

I’m 19 and dropped out of school to start learning permaculture and go on a volunteer journey to learn more and be a part of the solution. I want to re create the connection with the earth and become one with the environment. I will probably take Geoffs course soon, either online or a different course in person. Then I want to start flipping land that’s desolate into permaculture food forests if I can

You are so right that it is easier to do something for someone else rather than for yourself.
I struggle to do nice things for myself and become overwhelmed with the task because it feels like a chore when I have no one to share it with.
You are a very blessed man to have such a nice place and someone wonderful to share it all with.

Hello David, i actually found Geofff before I did you on UA-cam.
I have about 1/4 acre out back and it was completely full of blackberry and rose bushes and contoured with oak trees, This has all been decomposing for years and t=years and finally after living here for 3 years i decided to build a forest garden. I should have done some before and after images but did not, I did clear all of the bushes by hand, impassable even by deer but i GOT IT DOEN, then a neighbour came by with a back hoe to loosen all the roots ready for me to pick out. I also have a creek running through, just a few minor touches and it wil be ready to plant. gEOFF IS DEFINiTLEY VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE EH!

This is so sweet. I gotta say, though, it's a little hard to watch. I'm on day 6 of an 11 day stretch of subfreezing temps and frozen pipes. In Oklahoma. And I live in a camper. 😳 I would love to have a sweaty tee pee right about now.
That Geoff Lawton clip is so damn powerful! The music they chose paired with the heartbreaking B roll makes me want to throw my gear on and go kick some ass. I live right by some train tracks behind a factory and there's a long strip of land that I so badly wish I could wave a magic wand and turn into a food forest. It would completely eradicate food insecurity in this whole area. All the grassy areas along highways and in-between on ramps, if utilized properly, could feed millions! We've got to get smart if we're going to turn this around. I'm sick and tired of these polar vortex winters. It should NOT be this cold in Okla-freaking-homa.
