Thanks Ron for your excellent reaction. This young lady just continually blows my mind over and over again. You’re so right about her voice. It grabbed me the first time I heard her sing at 12-years-old and it has never let me go. It doesn’t matter what language she uses, you will never see lyrics sheets or sheet music. She plays everything completely from memory, and the solos are always her own. She writes one for all of the music she performs, as well as doing her own arrangements. She has become an absolute virtuoso on the piano. I can listen to her songs hundreds of times and I love them each time as much as I did the first time I heard them. This song had me smiling and it brought tears to my eyes, and I don’t understand a single word she sang. It’s the absolute perfection of it that causes that reaction, and she’s the only one in the world who does that to me consistently!

Hi Ron, beautiful performance by Emily, her singing and playing are stunning. Thanks to you and Brad for this. I have been doing a little reading on this since Emily came out with it and it's a fascinating story ( to me : ) Lara is indeed one of the cowriters of the lyrics. The music itself was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto, a musicologist who wrote an autobiography on Italian composer Albinoni ( 1671- 1751) and claimed to have written it from a fragment of Albinoni's work he had discovered. A claim never proven. Still, many reference it as Albinoni's but Giazotto was able to copyright it. Whether it traces back to the 1700's or the 1950's, Emily's version is simply gorgeous. Hello Ron. Brad's word 'virtuoso' sums up this extraordinary performance. I'd never heard this before & was left tingling all over at the end. This young lady has so many facets to her musical career that she could proceed in any direction. This was just beautiful & a perfect showcase for Emily's amazing piano playing & vocal range.
