    Thanks for the informative video. It's nice to see the mower explained from a regular person who isn't some sort of professional UA-cam reviewer of lawn gear. Those channels are fine, but I like having a sense of what using the mower is like for a real person. Keep up the good work!

    I wanted to also mention that my husband likes the mower as well and is going to sell his two gas mowers. He is happy that it will also free up much space in our garage.

    I had one of these very same mowers. Just don't let the grass get to high as the mower will not do well. I did go back to gas because I do run a lawn care business with customers that usually call me when the lawn is at its worst. We're talking 3 hours to do a small lawn because the grass is so thick and tall.

      I agree, we have problems if we try to mulch and the grass is too long or wet, but for our purposes for home use I find it works well. Thank you for your comment.

    Great job, enjoyed your video and was very useful. I just ordered a Greenworks from Costco. Nice to see how non-pro, like me, is able to use this mower.

    Thank you for your comments. Because of your help, I thought I should add that we purchased the mower, and I filmed last summer. It just took me awhile to edit due to other things in my life, such as my artwork. I live in the Midwest so I should mention I am not sure how well it does mowing wet leaves. Our leaves stay dry year-round.

    Update, in regards, to the mower stopping while mowing, it starts right back up though, I only notice it when the grass is high and/or wet. Also, I am mulching. My husband reminded me that according to directions after mowing to wait till the battery is cool before charging. I still like mower, its ease of use for me, overcomes this issue.

    I'd like to understand more about the batteries. Do you need to run them all the way down before recharging to extend battery life (I remember needing to do that with other batteries years ago). Do you keep the battery in the charger on a constant charge or do you put the batter in to charge, say, on the morning you know you're going to mow the lawn. I'm trying to find info on what Greenworks says about that but haven't so far. Thx for your video, very helpful.

    • @mystyleenchants
      @mystyleenchants  3 місяці тому +1

      I am usually taking them below 40% before recharging based on my husband's knowledge of how aircraft Li-ion batteries have the best life in aircraft. They are best stored around 60-80% charge but that doesn't stop us from taking them all the way down if it is a heavy load lawn mowing due to growth and use of the turbo/drive. These charge to 80% in about a half hour so if I'm storing them I stop there and if I need to keep using them that is enough to go mow more. They get a full charge in about 1.5-2 hours from empty. I got it from Costco so I have a 10 year battery warranty so not too worried about them dying on me. The main battery does a 1/4 acre hilly lot with no problem so I normally leave the other one out to save the weight. Thanks for watching the video!

      Thank you for your comment. I really appreciate the support. I am new to UA-cam and enjoy doing these videos. I plan to do more, but since I spend a lot of time on my art painting, it doesn't leave me much time for videos.

      Thanks for your comment. In the back corner I have a Goldflame Honeysuckle, in the center I have a Degroot's Spire Arborvitae, two dwarf lilacs, two Berry Awesome Hibiscus, two False Cypress Lemon Thread mops, two Fire Chief Thuja Congabe bushes, to the left a Taxus bush, then have three Coral Drift Meidriflora ground cover roses, clematis on the arbor, then black eyed Susan's, and some other yellow flowering perennial I can't remember, two coral bells in the corners with Bronze Carpet Stonecrop succulents I'm trying to grow as a border. In the back corner for ground cover is periwinkle, which I don't think I'd plant again very invasive. I may have had some gladiolas still left but I have since took them out. Thanks again for your interest.

    Hopefully this question will reach to you fast !! how heavy is lawn mower??? because I just purchased Ryobi all-wheel drive model that comes with two batteries , most powerful that available on the market and that thing weighs a ton.... compared to my Craftsman gas lawn mower it feels like it weighs almost three times more and it's very uncomfortable

    • @mystyleenchants
      @mystyleenchants  4 місяці тому +1

      Hi, I found this mower was pretty light to me, I guess it's around 79 lbs or so. Its lighter than the other two gas mowers we have. We also don't use both batteries in it at the same time. So that would reduce the weight.

      Hello……..thank you very much for the video………it was most refreshing to see someone
      Who actually owns the mower in question as opposed to someone who is trying
      to encourage the Public to make a purchase.
      I found your video to be honest, informative and refreshing..
      Keep up the good work…👍👍👍

    I have the same mower and when I try to pull backwards the rear wheels lock up. How are you able to back up ?

    • @mystyleenchants
      @mystyleenchants  2 місяці тому +1

      Hi, you either have to let go of the drive handles hanging off the bottom and keep going forward a foot or so or wait a few seconds before going backwards. That is pretty common with all the self-drive mowers we've had also. Thanks for watching and Happy Mowing!!

    She won’t tell you so I will, I bought the 80v 4ah green works that claims 60min run time. I got 17 on a full charge, then had to wait almost a hour and half to be able to put it on the charger because when I put it to charge the red light came on saying the battery needed to cool down. Long story short It took almost 3 days to cut my grass. I also tried charging battery for a full day on the last day to see if it would make the battery last longer and no, only got 19 mins. I returned it and got gas powered as it only took 1 tank to get my entire lawn with no stoppage

      @mystyleenchants  4 місяці тому +4

      I'm sorry to hear you went through that. We haven't had those problems. I usually take about 30 to 45 minutes or so to mow our front and back lawns. We also usually take a break in between the two.

      @@mystyleenchants He probably ran it on turbo the whole time under heavy load or maybe he had a defective battery. Most reviews of this mower are positive. There are higher torque Ego and Milwaukee models but they also cost several hundred dollars more.
