I suppose so. I wish they'd tried to make the witches feel more like they were doing more varied magical things. There was a lot of "pause camera, make something appear from thin air with very little effort". Not very witchy, very over used, a little too easy, and for me, quite boring after a while.
This is wonderful! Endora is such a great character, and Agnes Moorehead was such a skilled and versatile actress. Thank you for sharing this and all the other great content on this channel from a program that has been a favorite starting in my childhood, over the decades, and to the present day.
One of the best episodes from the 7th season .....first aired on January 14, 1971......John McGiver played Mr. Bobbins, he appears in the classic film Midnight Cowboy {1969}
I also love the scene at 3:45. Endora/Sam, "If you honor your mother-in-law this day, you can forget her the rest of the year." Sam/Endora, "But if you forget about your mother-in-law the rest of the year, can become very angry." 🙂
Just like the time Endora transformed into Samantha's double. Sam had a dress fitting appointment and still had to go see the butcher. Endora was happy to help out.
In the episode WHICH WITCH IS WHICH, Endora continued to play Samantha to the point she met and dated Darrin's author friend. Liz was the center of this episode, playing both roles. Notice, they altered Liz's voice a bit. Other episodes where Liz flipped roles is when Serena changed into Samantha in DOUBLE, DOUBLE TOIL AND TROUBLE and IT'S NICE TO HAVE A SPOUCE AROUND THE HOUSE. Another is SAMANTHA AND THE TROLL. This is the only episode where Agnus Moorehead and Elizabeth Montgomery flipped roles on camera. In any case, I love them all, especially where Serena is involved.
Love Samantha and her mom Endora I loved this episode and All of them....Ii liked it when they changed into each other Samantha turned herself in her mom and her mom says I can be you Samantha and she changed so funny lol and how can you not love both of these women.....💖💖👍👍🙂something to do with Darrin's work commercial on candy chocolates. 🍫
Agnes was Emmy nominated for this season (her 6th) and should've won. Elizabeth unfortunately didn't get a nomination this season (she received 5 in total for the role) but did receive a Golden Globe nod instead.
The visual effects/trick is just spectacular.

The special effects and cloning was super 👌 for that Era before the technology age

Garson, she won an Emmy in 1967 for her appearance on The Wild, Wild West, so got an Emmy at least once.
Thanks for the edit. Love this scene.
The director is Robert Q. Lewis of What’s My Line fame!
That was an Ad no one will forget. Just the point in advertising!
The title is a quote from Shakespeare's Macbeth. Classy!
Brilliant! It's always been my favourite show!
This has to be just about the funniest episode....makes me laugh every time!
what a stupid time to end it. it leaves me guessing what happened next
Excellent use of early green screen
ABC Network television back in the day😊
Agnes Moorhead was beautiful, classy and intelligent. I bet her IQ was way up there.
I remember watching this episode when it first aired. It was great!
I wonder how they took the switcheroos? That had to have been difficult to explain.

Two endoras. Double trouble for Darrin. From Ms. Harper Stacey.

@@dianetheisen8664 hi Diane. What I like about this episode is it's not a remake. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
@@harperstacey9604 Very true 👍.
The audience scene was quite a few years back...more like early to mid-60s
“I wanted to be with my mommy.”
John Manier-Bwahahahahaaa! 😄😄😄😄😄😄
