That one scare made me really like the idea of an entity that doesn't harm you directly, but it spooks you, making you lose your balance in really precarious moments. Also him standing on pure air to look into your house was just omnious. It's interesting how it detects a "house". It looks like he screws with the door nearest to the bed, and when he doesn't find one he just goes to the bed outright. Pretty nice vid :thumbsup:
I was thinking that the Knocker kept opening that 1 exact door in the middle of the bottom floor of the house cause that was the latest door that was placed down.
@@stereotypical01 WWWWW also, canon=something canon to a story, cannon=the weapon, some of which were bigger than average classrooms of today, with cannonballs so big they were taller than that, and could be so hot they cracked and this had to be kept really close to or inside of places where they’d be repaired.
One of the things i love about minecraft is that we as players can see this gorgeous birch forest have completely different ideas of what to build there and what style the house should be in. I wouldve gone for a tiny oak wood cabin with a tall roof, with a firepit outside and winding little path to the village

Ok, i was instantly insanely anxious when we begun the lets play after the horror scene. And tve Knocker spawning ON TOP OF THE BED made me untrust this entity even more. I hate when the seemingly safest places arent so safe anymore
I've watched a couple videos from you now, and I must say, you are extremely underrated! Everytime I watch a video, it feels so comforting and yet off... Those small "scary" cuts inbetween really help with the atmosphere. I think you make good stuff! Keep it up!
Now that i think about it. The Knocker isnt that dangerous. Though he haq the unique ability to hit thru shields, its like his presence is hurting you, ill give him that. But when he attacks you, you can just sprint jump and shoot him, he has 50 hearts and its guaranteed for him to despawn once he has gone below half health. People say hes unpredictable but im not sure abt that. I examined his behavior and he has 3 states and 3 options: stare stalk and do nothing, stare stalk and stare stalk and attack (the last one only if he can find a path to you). The only unpredictable is you not knowing what version it is. So the knocker in itself is not THAT dangerous, believe me though it is HELLA SCARY. I love to use knocker with other mods like anomaly and night dweller. Youre unsafe inside and outside of your home
@@stereotypical01 Those are my favorites. For now, the Night dweller is the most scary, aggressive and dangerous, even chewing through ur house in the latest updates. Heck i checked in creative. It can chew thru BEDROCK. So only safe option is a raised or floating base. Realistically, the anomaly would be the most scary and dangerous, but my world isnt that old and anomaly is glitched. It doesnt seem to fully render
I'm pretty sure that one side of the double door is now coded as the "front" door as far as the Knocker is concerned, yeah. Couldn't tell you how to fix it.

oh my gods the editing is so amazing the random glitches and filters keep making me giggle and the "SCARY SCARY BE SCARED SCARY THING" music goes on for so much longer past the mildly spooky-ish thing man this is a fun video the mod genuinely looks good though, maybe if the rate of the door opening wasn't every two minutes, that'd help it a little.

Ill tell ya what just happened in my horror world. In there, I have 4 horror mods, From The Fog (Herobrine), Man From The Fog (Night Dweller) and The Anomaly (Added in later in night 10) So i was outside for a tad bit too long and it was night (11:00 time in MC and from 10:30 its considered night) so i rushed home, guess who i saw on my bed... The Knocker. At the same time I saw both Herobrine and The Anomaly staring at me from a distance. Then i heard THAT noise, Night Dweller spawned. So all of them at once. But not knowing recent Night Dweller can chew through ANY block means my house wasn't defended at all. So what I did was digging a hole where I was and tunneling towards the knocker and hitting it while it became aggressive. My angle was perfect so it couldnt get me. Fun fact, the night dweller and the anomaly have 300 hearts respectively so no chance of killing them unless u have endgame gear with god apples. The Knocker has 50 hearts and for some reason always disappears when below half health. The anomaly was still benign since I added it later than the rest but they stared at me for a long time and herobrine did the worst thing imo they can do to u, play that fast footsteps sound, just bone thrilling. But then, the worst happened... I heard the night dweller activate. I blocked the door and rushed upstairs but they got in and i died. This made me extremely paranoid of the night dweller and also the anomaly, anomaly is tall so i think they can just work like a long chainsaw which is just frightening. This happened at Night 9
so based on what i've seen i believe the knocker treats the closest door in relation to movement to your bed the knocker treats as the main entrance as until you made the double door ir was correctly treating the true main entrance door way as THE entrtance relative to your bed along with the now mine entrance/closet as a main entrance. which would explain the sudden shift in what doorway it now considered the main entrance. maybe experiment with moving the bed around to see what doors it open and closes then at night block off the door/s then sleep sure if it wake you up and is watching from the window you could wait for it to disappear then try to sleep again
Before the outside, better work on security. U got a psycho neightbour who seems to be homeless and stalks at you at night, oh and can also teleport with a carved smile. Anyone would be concerned of that lol

Do you use the creature variety resource pack? A lot of the mobs I’ve seen in this video have textures from that resource pack but I know they’re also Minecraft earth or story mode textures as well and other packs and mods use them. I play this mod with my friend, at one point it became annoying rather than scary xD, we kept on spamming the door and was like "there, did the work for you now"

Ya know, I think this mod is cool and all, but he teleports and smacks you like Herobrine and has only opened doors. He's the Knocker. He Knocks on the door, not watches you sleep like that other mod or smacks you while you sleep. That doesn't fit him. Maybe have him knock on your window or door too wake you up. I dunno. The things The Knocker does in this mod doesn't make sense for his character design. Lol. And it should be vampire rules. Vampires can't enter your home unless you invite them in so they disguise themselves as friendlies to get in. Same as the Knocker, it should be that if you leave your door open or open it when you hear him knocking or heard him knock recently, he will get in.

I play this mod with my friend, at one point it became annoying rather than scary xD, we kept on spamming the door and was like "there, did the work for you now"

I enjoyed the vid mate! My biggest bit of constructive criticism is that sometimes the music gets a bit too loud and overpowers your voice- would be good to make it a tad quieter next time

Ya know, I think this mod is cool and all, but he teleports and smacks you like Herobrine and has only opened doors.
He's the Knocker. He Knocks on the door, not watches you sleep like that other mod or smacks you while you sleep. That doesn't fit him. Maybe have him knock on your window or door too wake you up. I dunno. The things The Knocker does in this mod doesn't make sense for his character design. Lol.
And it should be vampire rules. Vampires can't enter your home unless you invite them in so they disguise themselves as friendlies to get in. Same as the Knocker, it should be that if you leave your door open or open it when you hear him knocking or heard him knock recently, he will get in.
