These videos keep coming, and I watch them all. I have to say there is somethignng very soothing in the way you present these videos. They aren't bloated, really worth a watch or listen. Your style reminds me a bit of the measured style of Mandalore.
If you choose Dragon Disciple prestige class, it kinda merges with Sorcerer class with chosen Dragon bloodline. I chose Kinda because only downside is that you lose 9th level spells, but bonuses kinda neat, like extra constitution, intelligence and strength also extra natural armour that'll make your sorcerer extra durable these go neat when you see that Dragon Disciple has d12 hit die.
I'm honestly kinda disappointed in that combo, given how poorly suited Sorcerers are for melee. The Eldritch Scion Magus or Bard seems to fit so much better, but you're giving up so many class features that DON'T show up in Dragon Disciple that I'm still not sure it's worth it.
@@colinsmith1495 You can always use transmutation spells to change forms - early to animals, later to dragon. Combined with fiery body, ice dragon form you get a lot of immunities, claw attacks and breath (and can cast spells).
The reason Sylvan sorcerer archetype doesn't change anything is because in Pathfinder 1e proper, Sylvan is just an offshoot of the Fey bloodline, and not its own archetype
For the infernal bloodline, are there any charm subschool spells in the game? I looked in the in-game encyclopedia and it said that charm spells are those that change an npcs opinion of you for the positive basically but dominate person didn’t receive the +2 buff
I don't know if they have added new non-mythic spells but in Kingmaker there were no spells of the charm subschool which meant that Infernal Bloodline Arcana did pretty much nothing
I went arcane bloodline for my character in kingmaker, but I might see how viable undead is this time around. Sorry but it just fits thematically for the lich mythic path, and I have to go that path. It screams lawful evil, and I can be a lich! What's not to love?
Honestly, I'm thinking about trying to play a Chaotic Good lich! The path should be open to any alignment, and the character may be willing to delve into undeath himself to free the rest of the people from the demonic tide! Still, bloodlines aren't related to your alignment specifically, so you can mix and match as you please, but it does seem like Undead bloodline would mix well with the Lich mythic path.
Hopefully they allow crafting in this game. I already see Brew Potion and Scribe Scroll as options, though I don't know that they're functional yet. I installed the crafting mod for Kingmaker specifically because the available magic weapons were SO random and there were SO many options, it felt like looking for a needle in a haystack to pick a weapon focus that would last the whole game.
Totally not needed. Much better being just naked with tons of dex and attribute stacking with tons of buffs. im reaching as of lvl 14 47 ac. with 4 immunity's etc. Its rly one of the most op classes in the game. Go lich, second bloodline, gg you can even turn into a dragon now so youre a dragon lich lmao. So many spells its insane. Undead bloodline + dragon bloodline, you get all the op buffs stack them up get eye for reduced lvls, concealment, blur, mirror image and the list goes on. 25 min duration is more than enough to clear most levels and if it runs out you just rest and recast it. Now mix it with the insane debuff's necromancy gives you and gg you can basicly play the entire game solo. ofcourse from lvl 14+ speaking.
So are the dragon bloodlines meant for melee builds or is playing a ranged build still optimal for them? It seems like they get fairly tanky which implies they’re meant for close combat. I’m new to the series and trying to figure things out. 😅
Hi, im wondering what spells under Infernal bloodline is included in the charm subschool?i read on the net it doesnt have any...not unless you may have new info regarding about it. i would appreciate any input, thank you.
My bad for my previous comment, I deleted it after seeing your reply but then felt like apologizing. I’m in something of a bad mood today (obviously lol) and quickly made a playlist of pathfinder related videos to watch while lying down to chill out and didn’t see what you mentioned in your response. As a more constructive reply, I do understand whee you’re coming from as a content creator, I’m online friends with MilkandcookiesTW who makes Total War Warhammer content mostly and I’ve (more kindly lol) explained my “less summary/regurgitation, more synthesis and insight” suggestion for a certain portion of his videos as feedback when he asked, as well as saying why not stop trying to keep up with the hype bandwagon that makes releases super early for new games but instead get well known as someone who is slower and less prolific but also less shallow than what is typical on UA-cam … and he explained how it could definitely see where I’m coming from but that as a full time content creator needing views to make a living there are some big factors in play a casual viewer wouldn’t know about, so when he covers games or DLC that are about to come out or are new releases he has to get stuff out quick to keep pace and stay relevant as interest drops way down surprisingly fast after release. Plus he mentioned appeasing the algorithm sometimes requires shorter videos released in quick intervals to attract channel traffic. So yeah my bad dude, sorry I let it turn into a rant.
Some of the bloodlines abilities just say "level ##" and not "class/sorcerer level ##", does that mean if I pick up Sorc 1 and then multiclass elsewhere, I still get the bloodline traits at the mentioned levels, or is it specific to the sorcerer level?
They're mostly the same, they do have their own progression system however and what kind of pet it actually is, the main thing is what level the pet is. Sometimes your class has your pet operate as a few levels lower than you is the biggest thing.
@@Squeeble00 Not quite. Check out here: aonprd.com/ArchetypeDisplay.aspx?FixedName=Sorcerer%20Crossblooded In tabletop, the Crossblooded get's to choose from all the options available to either bloodline whenever they get anything, like a bloodline power, bonus feat, or bonus spell. They don't get both of them, though. They also take a penalty of one fewer spell known per spell level, which at certain levels means you may have spell slots available but no actual spells known (effectively given the slower spell progression, but not for spells per day). I don't see anything about worse saves, though.
DR and Resistance are kinda complicated in Pathfinder. If it's a material (Cold Iron, Silver, Magic, etc) those all get ranked and higher ranks count as overcoming the lower ranks. If it's an alignment, it IS reduction to anything but that alignment (so angels with DR/Evil can take full damage from demons with evil weapons). If it's elemental resistance, it only applies to that element. So, basically DR/Evil and Fire Resistance work as exact opposites.

Thank you taking the time to cover all of these classes. And thanks for making your videos informative and to the point. They're very helpful.
Sylvan sorcerers were already amazing in Kingmaker, and it seems like they'll be able to mount their pets in WotR. What else do you want.
You'd have a hard time convincing me that Sylvan sorcerer's aren't the best class in the game.
@@MrGouldilocks I was trying to think of something clever when I remembered it could make you a lich riding an undead wolf.

The big sad
My second play through of the game will probably be an evil sorcerer with the undead bloodline so I can build a lich.
I'm having a shot every time he says bonus spell.

One of my big issues with playing pure casters in kingmaker was that it takes ages before you get robes/magic staffs. Is it similar in this game?
A little better but not much

Great video! For those of you who played the beta: does the Abyssal bloodline combo well with the Demon mythic path, or is it pretty redundant?
I have a demon mythic path video up but I don't believe so off hand
Is there any reason not to take Sylvan sorcerer if I want to take the fey bloodline ?
I wish there was any recent powerful sorcerer build out there

Cast from distance, dragon form for melee

Something about spontaneous casters requiring a full-round action to use meta magics which makes quicken redundant.
