Okefenokee Joe, aka Dick Flood, is a country music singer/songwriter, a professional naturalist and an ardent environmentalist.He is well-known to GPB viewers from his Emmy-winning documentary, Swampwise, which you can watch at • Swampwise | GPB Docume... . He lived in the Okefenokee Swamp for ten years, learning first-hand about the animals and plants in the area.

Cousin butchy loves okeefenokee Joe and swampy the dog and skeeter the cat and he did artwork about the venomous snakes here in Florida and always wonders what okee Joe would say and do to be swampwise and knows he's looking down from heaven at all his true friends

It used to bother me that people killed harmless snakes even as a 12.year old well actually it still does im 61
