Ok this looks great . IVP is pretty evenhanded on their historical theology publications . Some times it’s hard to find a publication on church history type subjects that the author doesn’t take sides concerning Catholic/ Protestant issues. . Many don’t let the fathers be the fathers . Oh another note my wife is going nuts now lol just enough room for about 10 books now on my shelves. Great video as usual. Blessings

Say what you will about the content of the Talmud, one cannot deny that it has produced a venerable scholarly tradition and piety within Judaism and I hope to see something similar arise among more christians. But obviously with Jesus Christ as the focal point of that endeavour...

You should take a look at the evangelical biblical theology commentary series. You could even do it on theology Thursday’s because they’re theological commentaries! 😃
