Her plan is BS, the middle class will continue to bear all the weight in this state if a Republican continues to be in charge.
it depends on the towns & counties the houses are in. Saddle river NJ has a 1% property tax rate because they dont have schools to support or street lights.... she can't control that

Murphy somehow convinced the New Jersey voter base to vote for him dispite saying nothing except that he will increase taxes to pay for significant increases in expenditures on top of the already high amount of debt New Jersey has. At the very least that woman had something to aside from 'we will do this'. With that being said, what a horrible selection New Jersey has. In a city with high taxes, poorly maintained infrastructure, and terrible high school graduation rates we get 2 choices both of which want to raise the debt dispite not having a plan to lower the current debt let alone lower the tax rate across the board. In regard to the debate, it was very well run. It's good to see the host and other people asking questions keeping the candidates on topic. Unfortunately the candidates don't have the time to respond to each other points leading to one person appearing better than the pther simply for getting the last say. This needs to be changed in the future and, hopefully we can get more than just talking points and character assassination.
