Now this is a tough one!
Finally understand what I've been doing with paradiddles for years. Sounds so cool that way.
She's so nice and talented ❤
Superb teacher
Yeah, always a good exercise to play groups of 4s in triplets or groups of 6s in 4/4. Or mix it up even more with 5lets or 7lets.
Brain molten, thank you! I’m not even a drummer although I do play some percussion instruments and sometimes I tap paradiddles on the table just for the kick. This hurts! But in a kinda nice way, lol 😅
That half-note triplet accent feels so good when you start nailing it. (i think its a half not triplet? 4*eighth = half?) one, &-of 2 and a-of 3.
Great Post Emma.
Another mind bending exercise is to play
single,double,triple paradiddles in triplet
form with varying accents.
That should keep you busy.
Cheers.
Mind Twister 😮
Emma has extraordinary skills on the drums. Love Emma and the sound of her Snare drum!. How do you tune that Snare ?
She has insane skills… side note, the cadence of her voice and pronunciation is giving Jack Sparrow…
Love it
Ok Respect. Good job.
🤯
I can barely do paradiddles as normal at a regular speed. Don't chuck triplets at me😂
Love it,Love her...
12teenths...
Just hearing it... oh no.
A rudiment in 4 played as 3s.
...good golly f@%$, I hate this.
Edit: I should clarify that I personally hate how it sounds, and that the technique required to play it is still very much astounding. Please don't take my hatred of the sudden tempo switch take away from the display of talent here.
