2 momths ago I was surfing on UA-cam and came across your channel. Since then u have never disappointed me with any of your projects. "By the way I'm from India". U inspired me to learn more about 3d printing. My dad met an accident on 8 June. I lost my dad on 14 June 18. I had totally lost my track. . I've started learning programs Fusion 360, SketchUp, Maya 3d animation n so on. I just want to thank u for giving me a new direction to learn new things. Keep up with your work 🤗 🤗
I will be trying my own 3D printed lure soon. I was surprised to see you like Fishing. I found your channel a while back for my 3D print projects. When you feel the strike, maybe set the hook more, that will drive it in and hold better.
I'm going to mirror another comment on here and say how impressed I am with all of your videos. I truly enjoy watching everything you produce. Welcome to the world of fishing. It's 90% frustration just waiting on that 10% of pure joy!
The scenery reminds me so much of where I grew up, in western Washington state in the US. My grandpa Einer was from Norway and I can see why he liked it here so much. Nice Helly Hanson life jacket too! Thanks for the video.
Looks like Construction Foam for insulating concrete floors. Basically 300mm thick stacked twice with a wooden frame around. EDIT; On another angle, I suspect there might be more than that.
Dude, you’re a master of b-footage. Beautiful videos and it’s clear you understand the true nature of fishing. Positive attitude, relaxation and admiration of a clean catch. Well done all around!
Love the video!!! I think you would have a lot more luck if you were "setting the hook" so when you initially get a fish on most of the time it is just the lure going in to the fishes mouth or the initial bite, but to get the hook to set into their mouth you need to give the rod a good pull upwards. So when you feel the rod move, say it moves to the right, then grab the rod and pull it hard to the left (opposite direction) and this will set the hook into the fishes mouth. I think you will have better luck with actually getting the fish on. Much love man!
For a pike you have to give him some time, because they grab the fish by the back and then they go down in the deep to swallow them. So you have to give them some time.
man! I never thought about 3D printing fishing tackle! that is AWESOME! pike are hard to get a good hook set on either way. i have watched a lot of your RC car videos somehow i never saw this one until today. very cool!
My misses family live on the French/Swiss border and I think that is a beautiful part of the world. Where you live is just breathtaking. Another excellent video and some beautiful looking Perch and Pike you caught there. Well done
Well done Buddy, would love to see more stuff like this, maybe print some rod holders. Please please make yourself a waterproof case for that DSLR. Or even a fixed mounting place for your tripod so it don't accidentally take a plunge.
Hi, Great channel & love your work... Just a tip the reason why you are loosing fish is because you do not set the hook properly. When you get a bite you have to strike hard on the rod to set the hook. Strike = hard yank backwards on rod. Hope this helps. Good luck and keep up the good work.
Hi Simon. And now I'm interested about that dual extruder :) Could you show us in future how it works, some details etc , please? What about Pallete + which you have bought some time ago? Any success or rather avalanche of failures?
Very nice! Just a tip, most hooks aren’t very sharp from the factory. If you give them a little attention on a hone, you could increase your hookups. Got to try these baits on my printer. 👍🏻
Would be cool to design a mold where you could inject a rubbery plastic. Would also be cool because you could add your hooks before injecting and have them linked through the bait with fishing line. This way if a fish really got after it, it couldn't rip out a hook. I've been dreaming on molding my own baits but i want to make something biodegradable. I hate the thought of tossing more plastic in the water that'll never go away.
There are companies that make biodegradable soft plastics. You can also switch out your lead weights with tungsten, or even make your own out of stones.
🐟Nice!! I make my own lures some times also...make that same swim bait with a chartreuse yellowish green day glow tail and one with a white tail and try em out! I would also do a day glow orange tail and also make the whole lure in chartreuse color and in day glow orange and try those out also! I bet the pikes would hammer em then!
You most definitely need better/sharper hooks I think. Hooks and the sharpness of them are a very under rated part of lures and fishing. Pike have hard mouths so they need the hook set good and sticky sharp hooks. Just a suggestion, they could have just not bitten the lure in the best way, but it looked to me like the hooks could be part of the issue.
If your making a part two, I think it would be helpful to make the lures more shiny and reflective, maybe some metallic paint would work, you have to catch the attention of the fish 👍
You're losing the fish because you have to set the hook. Once you feel the fish on, grab your rod and yank it back above and to left or right of your head depending on which way you're comfortable doing it and you should be able to reel it in with no problems, unless your line brakes that is. Another GREAT video!! 👍👍
oh my gosh! you are my favorite UA-camr. I'm Sam . and come from Taiwan. Also in my Taiwanese Laboratory project is produce 3D Printing Robot Fish .So glad can seen this video related my project. It's Fantastic ! Please do more related this project Video. And I think we can exchange for the idea . It's amazing ! Hope you have a nice day! Sam(Hsieh,Chang-Hsuan)
I dont know about fishing but would it be a factor if the tail was very bright, neon color and a bit smaller over all? thanks. I really love the the scerry part of your videos. They are amaszing.
I'd hate to see you lose a rod, or even that DSLR. Set up some rod holders and camera mounts. Anchor down a crate or 2 as well. Keep up the good work. Your content is the reason why I've made my first 3D printer purchase. :)
Will you post a better link to the file to upload to my Makerbot. The one attached does not open. I teach a wildlife conservation course are planning our lure design class we want to print the lure. The file does not open.
Lost a lot of bass myself, smart fish, the nearest lake to me is 2 hours away :( i'm jealous. But i'm sure they will work in salt water if i print them bigger. Thank you for always releasing great content.
"Där satt den" = GOT ONE
For you non-Swedish speaking viewers. 👍
Nice dude 😁
RCLifeOn hey I know you said not to comment but the only thing you were doing wrong is on the pike you did not set your hook
Thought you were saying "There's somethin" 😂
Vad tror du om guld tuben?
I thought it was a 4-letter word...
OH MY GOD! You made a video about my swimbait! Thats so awesome!
It's a great design, nicely done!
Thanks alot!
Nice work dude! Just might be what pushes me over the edge to finally getting myself a 3d printer!
@@Binaryfarto You can order a 3d printed part from companies rather than buying a printer unless you fish often and lose a lot of lures.

Hey andy didnt know id see u on here haha. Thinking about printing some as well
When the fish bites you need to pull back on the rod and “set the hook” I think that would help you land more fish 🎣
That and also id recommend keeping the rod tip down to avoid any jumping
@@OfficialZurg Actually loosen up a little when they jump. Too much line pressure pops the hook.

It's a Viking Secret.
Swedish Nature loving is not a myth. Congrats to both fishes who played their roles so well.
Your videos got me into 3D printing and it is really inspiring that you push the boundaries of 3D printing
3D print a Rod holder Please!!!
That was my thought to make a pole holder.
That’s the same I thought. Maybe one that has a small bell attached to it.
These things swim really nice, super realisitic! Added to my list.
3D printing and fishing! 10/10 absolutely brilliant!

You would land more if you had printed it a wee smaller.
Right when you get a bite pull the line really quick with a jolt to set the hook in its mouth then reel
Oh Man, what a lovely place, no wonder you always have a great idea for your content
Paradise on Earth 😍😍😍
Great Video i would love to see more videos like this well done!!
Amazing brother
Do you have a recommendation for infill versus depth for the lures? I fish at a dam that is full of weeds at 2 meters.
Allways print this lure in 100% infill! otherwise it will not be waterproof. there is a head for this lure without lip that only dives about 1m.
Okay, cheers.
Keep up the good work, you are doing an amazing job.
I'm happy I found your channel

If you're a good enough angler to hook a pike, you are good enough in my book.
Ah man, I love to fish as well, I fly fish and make my own flies! Cool vid!

How do you make sure the eyelets stay in the bait? Is superglue strong enough also what size do you use?
What's the 3d printed you advise me by it..please (anycubic i3 mega.or.CR-10.or.anet a8)
very nice!! you got some good big ones there! (better than i could ever do with a worm)
one you feel a bite pull directly up to set the the treble hook.
Super cool :D
Simon, will you pick up The Dji Mavic 2 pro?
Nice video!! You should try larger hooks, looks a bit small for a pike.
To stop them from falling off when they jump, keep the rod more straight in the vertical.
Nice adventure! Thanks for bringing us along. What is the dual extrusion system you got?
Give this guy a thumbs up,
You should try to yank it to get the hook hooked, you need to do it at the right time or you will loose them.
Wish i had one of these they have Great action

Hey, cool lure. Add bigger treble hooks. the hooks should be able to touch each other on any crankbait or swimbait. :) better luck next time.
Print some rod holders, that would make trolling a lot easier and great video man!
You live in a beautiful part of the world.
Hey man, where did you get your raft? Did you make it??
Yes, he and a friend made it.
Great video, please do more videos of projects that you build something mechanical or electrical.
Hey! Thanks for the video. I'm interested in building a boat like yours, do you have a video for it?
Hey what wheel your using ?
Would love to live in a place like that ^^ So cool.. Ohh yeah btw also cool video :D
How did you connect the pieces together?
This video saved me from boredom 😁
How did he make/get that boat/raft thing?
It’s god dam beautiful where you live! No wonder you’re so happy 👍🏻
Nice work man! But why no 3D printed fishing rod clamps?
Bro how many 3d printers do you have?????
