  • Iphone footage, handheld. it gets pretty shaky, apologies to anyone who gets motion sick easy!
Pirelli Scorpion AllTerrain Plus 225/65/17 tyres. is otherwise stock.
did really well. a lot of this area isn't too serious, but a few sections need proper grip, speed and some clearance/suspension travel.

Hey Simon that tiggy went alright. Mines setup for off road but I haven’t done full beach just yet, just waiting for the skid plate to arrive.

Thanks. I’ve sold it since, but it was a really good car in all conditions.
I never added anything aftermarket to it - besides the wheels/tyres in this vid.

    That was really impressive.
We are thinking about getting a 2018/19 Tiguan and we like camping on the beach like up in Noosa (teewah beach) and Bribie Island in QLD.
Do you think the car is capable with right tyres and pressure?
    Cheers

Beach driving is fine. The AWD system, coupled with the off-road driving mode is quite competent in sand.
It doesn’t have a lot of ground clearance- so avoid the really rutted out areas.

@@simonr23 Thank yo so much, thats really helpful.
It's hard to find something that's comfortable as a daily driver but can still get you on the beach/off road.
Unless you can afford a Touareg or something like that.

Tyre pressure? 18-20psi. Sorry for the nube questions. Just Google doesn't help much n forums

Amir Ennaim for the 17” tyres, I used 15-16psi. If you stick to the stock tyres, don’t got that low. The lower the profile, the higher the pressures need to be. Probably 18-20psi for the standard tyres. 20-22, if the 20” R-line tyres.
