How To Upgrade Dino Tiers In Omega | Ark Ascended

- In this video, I go over how to upgrade through the tiers up to apex in Ark Omega.
How to Unlock each Tier:
-Basic through Elite spawn wild and can be tamed with appropriate kibble. You can upgrade your current tames to the next highest tier, up to Elite, by crafting a rank up token in the soul grinder using a Paragon soul of your tame's species.
-Prime is unlocked by killing a Boss summoned from the beacon and feeding the soul to an Elite of the same variant.
-Apex is unlocked by killing a Master summoned from the beacon and feeding the soul to a Prime of the same variant.

Can i convert a vanilla tame ( like a normal tame, doesnt have tier, not even basic) into a basic tier?

@@airbourne9511 You have to find a paragon variant of the Dino you are working on. You can also get lucky and find variant souls that matches your Dino’s variant.
@@LichKingBriggs yeah so from killing wild dinos or lootbox from These warriors is the only Option? No Chance to craft paragonsouls right
@@airbourne9511 Correct. You can’t craft it. You can get paragons from just killing dinos with your Dino’s. Killing same species. Breeding. Etc.

If i dont have a super good creature like your megapithicus how woulf you suggest i go about it? Also extra difficult for me bc its reactive
Depending on the group you are fighting, you can kill bosses on foot. Which you would need for your player rank. Don’t forget to use stone skin, siren potions, and rampage potions. Also even though I’m using a megapithecus, some boss fights will take a team. Especially later down the road.

I did it with a plaque mammoth granted it had 11 paragons and was prime/apex but it was fairly easy even when it was elite
don't ever put points into a dino's stam on omega, as everything that uses a dino's stam is % based not a flat number.
What are the best equipment?

I think they mean can you go past elite which I don’t think is fully implemented into ASA yet with Hex having IRL stuff that’s rightfully taking priority.
