I mean look at the Final Fantasy films and more recent games. They have been getting more and more lifelike for a while, it will be a while before CG animation looks almost identical to Live-Action but progress and innovation comes when it is needed, not necessarily when it is more convenient for humanity.
@@aspieanarchist5439 resident evil and many games have already proven that cgi can be like live action, but we're way past that being the deciding factor if cgi is good or bad. Its proven that stylized cgi with more focus on art direction (wind waker, botw, this show) stands the test of time better than cgi that tries to copy live action (spirits within, ps2 cgi cutscenes, Shrek lol) which will look dated every time new better tech comes out. Stylized cgi wins!
