Vash is a hero. The best in anime there exists. I mean, the guy wants to protect and help everyone around him but not kill. That's what makes me love vash.

Ah yes, my two favorite things. Vash, and Bad Omens. I did not realize how Vash coded this song is. Lil essay incoming: I absolutely love this series and Vash for so many reasons. I love Vash's moral compass, even if I don't agree with it at every turn in the story. With Rolo, I agree with Wolfwood that killing him was merciful. But I still appreciate and admire Vash's moral compass and the steadfast writing. I agree with Nai's POV on humanity, but ultimately I love Vash's view on humanity that they can be better. Nai thinks that he's ignorant when really Vash is just optimistic, granted to a fault but he's not ignorant. Their brotherly love is also just something really insane and well written I devoured this show, it's so good and I'm gnawing at the bars of my enclosure for season 2.
I never watched stampede but I did watch the older Trigun anime. If this vid is a glimpse of what to expect from stampede though it will be well worth investing my time because this video is fantastic. The emotion portrayed in this is so raw, a testament to both the source and the editor.
