Three-time SuperCars champion Shane van Gisbergen says that Talladega is an all encompassing fan experience similar to the flagship race in Australia, the Bathurst 1000.
SVG is excited to run double duty in Alabama, and getting ready to contend at the Charlotte Roval next week.

Never been a SVG fan but watching and listening to him these past 18 months or so has certainly changed that, he is blindingly talented and fast, I would love to see him rise to the top in NASCAR
Love him or dislike him as an Aussie so good to see SVG with a smile on his face at a press conference.
At least get his country right man, he is from New Zealand, not Australia.

Call SVG an Aussie and see what he says, they’re always trying to give the intent that he’s Aussie because they want the praises hahah. “ as an Aussie “ gives off the impression that’s his nationality. as an american. i dont think thing very many people dislike him. whats not to like. also i think hes the only driver in nascar history to ever walk into the media center and say "what would you like to know" 🤣
Good to him see being himself and getting some points in the stage is a real positive, wanna see him having a crack and running up front on the ovals, looking forward to next year.
He's able to talk alot more freely in the U.S.

To make it to the round of 4 would be difficult but NOT Impossible. He is capable of top 10s on ovals and depending on other driver results you never know… let’s be positive

Why? It works really well for the Xfinity series tho and trucks, cause there aint 16 rounds.
Trying to get final race as big finale this year could be decided at Bathurst and crowds dropping off mid season...
